You probably all know by now that I love to get freebies. Mostly through couponing. Granted, not everyone likes to clip coupons and whip out coupon policies at the check out register to prove to the cashier that you're the one who is correct. Katie mostly disappears and acts like she doesn't know me when I pull one of those! I don't blame her.  So today I wanted to share two easy and fast ways to get some freebies and even earn a little money on the side.  I was introduced to Bzzagent.com through another Blog. They basically want your opinion on products and in exchange, they will send you a full size sample.  It's super easy. Your initial time investment is about an hour, signing up and answering a bunch of random questions about things you like. If you ever watched the Show “Extreme Couponing” you know all about the crazy stockpiles those people have in their garages or basements. I’m not going to lie, I would love to have a stockpile like that, I just wish that the food wouldn’t expire. It’s just not very realistic to have 549 bottles of mustard or 236 bottles of dressing. And wasting food is one of my pet peeves, even if its free. I’ve been known for eating our leftovers five days in a row, even if I’m sick of it, just because I can’t throw it away. It’s a problem. I still love myself a little stockpile though. Or a big one, whatever. I’ve been couponing for about nine months now and love how much money we save every month. It’s still a thrill for me to walk out of the store with a bootyload of stuff that I got for free, but I’ve also piped way down since last year, when I would drive to 12 different stores to get a bunch of crap I didn’t really need. I totally wish I could call myself an extreme couponer, but, I think I still have a long way to go. Just today, I made the biggest beginner mistake and had to pay for it. Literally. Like I said...looong way to go. Although, I do get "extreme" when it comes to freebies and you might even call it crazy.  I read that it's common in the beginning for new couponers to not pass up anything free and if that means you have to hit up three different stores on your way from work, then that's just what you have to do. Maybe I should bow my head in shame for even admitting this, but in my defense, all of these stores are on my way home, no detours.  It's addicting... It's so addicting that I went to three different Walgreens the other day... okay, okay, eight different Walgreens just to find out that they were out of stock on the item I wanted  needed there as well. I have THE most awesome friend.  A friend who spends her lunch hour to compile coupons for me and if you think that is awesome, you should've seen the grocery list she wrote me.  The list had all of the items she suggested I should buy, the regular price, the coupon she had for me and how much the price after the coupon was, along with some explanations.   I was in awe. Completely blown away by her generosity and kindness, I just couldn't believe it.  So Katie and I shopped. A few weeks ago I told you how I wanted to start couponing . Katie was telling me how I'm doing it all wrong, I needed a coupon binder and basically a better plan before I start spending all of our money on things we don't need. She had a point, during our first trip to the grocery store a lot of things magically  made it  into our cart that we usually wouldn't have bought. I guess I didn't get the concept.
