Day 113 Non-Stress-Test at the doctor's office Non-Stress-Test beim Arzt Day 114 We have some steps that go down to our fireplace area in the living room. The previous owner of our house left us a giant childproof gate and we decided to put it up, so we can have a dog-proof area for our baby swing and pack n' play for the next few months! Wir haben ein paar Stufen, die zu unserem Kamin im Wohnzimmer fuehren. Die vorherigen Hausbesitzer haben uns ein riesiges kindersicheres Gitter hinterlassen und wir beschliessen, es zu installieren, damit wir fuer die naechsten Monate einen sicheren Platz fuer unser Reisebett und die Babyschaukel haben (damit die Hunde nicht ans Baby kommen). April 26th, 2014 How far along: 38 weeks! Baby is the size of a: Leek Total weight gain: 34+ lbs    Maternity Clothes? People always say they get sick of wearing their maternity clothes and can’t wait to get back into their regular clothes. For me, it’s the opposite. I don’t feel like I’m “done” with these clothes yet and my maternity pants are definitely more comfortable than my regular jeans! Stretch Marks? No. Sleep? Painful and non-existent.    Best moment of the Week: I can’t even think of one. This week has been nothing but miserable and I’m just trying to get through the days. Movement: This boy has been a wild one ever since I started feeling him. So when the kicks got very faint and far in between this week, we started to worry. Day 106 Taking selfies while waiting for the doctor Wir haben Fotos gemacht, waehrend wir auf den Arzt warteten. Day 107 There's a carseat in my car... surreal! I can't believe there will be a baby in it in just a few short weeks! Katie did a ton of research to find the safest car seat on the market, she'll be an awesome mom! Ich habe einen Kindersitz in meinem Auto... unglaublich! Ich kann gar nicht glauben, dass wir in ein paar Wochen ein Baby darin haben werden! Katie hat ewig nach dem sichersten Autositz, den es gibt, gesucht, sie wird eine grossartige Mutter werden! Day 108 Still craving smoothies! Ich liebe immer noch Smoothies! April 19th, 2014 How far along: 37 weeks! Baby is the size of a: Bunch of Swiss chard Total weight gain: 32+ lbs    Maternity Clothes? Growing out of some maternity shirts! Stretch Marks? No. Sleep? Painful and non-existent.    Best moment of the Week: Seeing him on the ultrasound screen! The doctor estimates him to be 6lbs, 4oz right now. Movement: He’s been constantly kicking me in the ribs and you can see and feel him pressing out his body parts! We’ve also experienced him having hiccups a few times this week, which we’ve never felt before! Food Cravings: Smoothies and Chocolate Milk. Belly Button in or out: In. Gender: Sweet baby boy! Symptoms: Same as last week. The pain in my stomach is actually getting unbearable at times and I can’t imagine feeling this way for another three weeks. Working is getting hard, but so is standing, sitting or laying down...I’m just miserable....

Day 99 Lunch with my Office Peeps...notice Robert's beautiful smile!  Mittagessen mit meinen Arbeitskollegen...schaut euch mal Robert's huebsches Laecheln an!  Day 100 Birthday Dinner for Rodney at our house. Robert just loves to take pictures! Wir haben Rodney's Geburtstag bei uns zuhause gefeiert. Robert liebt es, wenn man Fotos von ihm macht! Day 101 Katie's Dad refinished this bassinet for us, that we found about two years ago for $5 at Goodwill. It turned our great! Katie's Vater hat diese Wiege fuer uns gestrichen, die wir vor zwei Jahren fuer $5 bei Goodwill gefunden haben. Sie ist super geworden! Day 102 All Day Birthing Class at the Hospital. Let's just say it was a LONG day! Wir hatten den ganzen Tag einen Geburtsvorbereitungskurs im Krankenhaus. Lasst uns einfach festhalten, dass es ein LANGER Tag war! Day 103 Our stroller arrived!
