My Once Upon a Time...

Day 351 No day is complete without a dance party at our house! One day, Fox heard this song on the radio and said "I like this song!" It has since become his favorite song and he NEEDS to dance to it, whenever it plays! He certainly got his moves from me! :) Day 352 We rode the Polar Express! Day 353 My old host mom (from when I was an au pair in 2001) sent Fox some amazing gifts. This art table is just one of them, she really spoiled him and Fox was so excited to open his presents and has not stopped playing with them since. She used to own a few toy stores and I remember her kids always having the best toys...I see she still has amazing taste! Day 354 We went out to look at some Christmas lights Day 355 Fox really got into the Elf on the Shelf this year and loved looking for him every morning! My friend Kristy and I had big plans to take our boys' Christmas pictures. The first weekend we had planned, Kristy got sick, so we postponed for the next weekend. Then Fox got sick. Then I got sick. And next thing you know, it was Christmas Eve and we had nothing to show for. Ha! So I took these in about 2 minutes right before we left for Church on Christmas Eve...well, I still had time to change his outfit! :) Love this boy so much!

Last weekend, we went to the Polar Express for the very first time. I had heard about it two years ago when Fox was just a few months old, but we wanted to wait until he was a little older, so he could really enjoy it. They also offer something that is called the North Pole Experience, where you visit Santa's Workshop, but I heard that it was more for older kids, so maybe next year!  We booked the tickets back in September and they were already almost sold out! We wanted to make a weekend out of it and stay overnight to go sledding the next day, but Fox started to get a little sick the day before we left, so we canceled the hotel and decided to just go for the day, which turned out perfectly, because there wasn't much snow and we didn't want Fox out in the cold for too long. Merry Christmas, from our Family to yours! 

Just like last year, we went to the Fairmont Princess Resort to see their Christmas display. We saw the ferris wheel from he parking lot and Fox was so excited to ride it with me, but when we got there, it turned out, that he didn't meet the height requirement. So we rode the carousel instead! Katie's grandma joined us as well! This was Fox's favorite, these snowmen were singing and he could've watched them for hours! Another favorite...Shivers! The train ride is always the highlight of the resort, and it was a crowded night, so we waited in line for about thirty minutes, but it was a lot of fun! This Christmas tree changed the lights to music and Fox was mesmerized.  I mean, come on, look at that face! He loved it and we were sitting in front of that tree forever, just listening to the music and watching the pretty lights! The night ended with chasing Mommy around a Christmas Tree! Day 344 We took Mr. Fox to see Santa! Day 345 His face when he saw (fake) snow! Day 346 Santa landed in a helicopter at a local airport, of course Fox was more interested in meeting the pilots than Santa! Day 347 We went to a Resort that had a huge Christmas display and invited Fox's great grandma along. Usually Fox doesn't really like characters, but for whatever reason he loved this "Shivers" guy. Day 348 I had the rare opportunity to take Fox to his basketball class and see him in action. This is when they ended the class and counted to three and then yelled "TEAM!". We have since done this about 142 times at home. Fox always explains to me that I get two stamps if I yell "Team" loud, only one stamp if I do it quietly.  Day 349 Reading a Christmas Book with Mommy!
