Santa Claus is coming to town...

My favorite pictures of the year...Santa pictures! I booked this session months ago and couldn't wait for it, because it was so magical last year!
She always starts out with the kids just sitting on the couch before Santa sneaks up behind them!


Last year, he got a little scared when he realized that Santa was behind him, but this year he just turned around and smiled, maybe he remembered what was going to happen from last year and anticipated it.

Decorating the tree with Santa. Finn was not sure what to think about the old man, I was kind of hoping for a pouty lip, but he was totally unimpressed.

Look at that smile! He is seriously the happiest baby ever!



He told Santa he would like a guitar for Christmas.



Santa had a little present for everyone and it was a big hit!

Not every kid can say that they beat Santa at arm wrestling!


I'm already sad thinking about the day that my kids are "too cool" to go see Santa! Holidays with kids are just so magical and I love every minute of it!

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. It's now hanging from the mirror in my car, as a reminder how fragile life is. This kid kills me with his watermelons. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do.  Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. His throat starts to be itchy and he can't breathe. We might have to get him tested again...hahaha. We visited a lot of play places this summer to stay out of the heat. August iPhone dump

Some moments from my August... Coffee treats during busy shifts! Fox had a pool playdate with some friends. First day of middle school! Unfortunately I had to work and couldn't send him off that day, but my favorite co-parent came through with some pictures from the bus stop. Found a bunch of these selfies on my phone haha. On the way to school one morning, middle school is rough apparently. A quick brunch with friends to celebrate the end of summer break! My sweet friend Nikki gave me this bucket full of beautiful dresses that she had outgrown. A lot of them still had tags on them! Dinner date with the boys, they preferred playing a game together instead of talking to me...haha! Homework struggles have begun again! Sweet treats after school while we wait for Finn to get off the bus. Unfortunately their buses arrive an hour apart from each other, so we have a lot of waiting around because the bus stop is too far from my house.  He was helping me make schnitzel!
