Fox | 14 Month Update

Weight:   We'll find out at his check up next month. Height: We'll find out at his check up next month. Health: Grateful for his health!  Nicknames: Big Honey, Bubba, Schatzi, Bubbles, Mr. Fox, Foxy, Pumpkin, Poodle Eating: Still picky as ever! I always worry about what he is eating and how much, it never ends. Someone told me that babies won’t starve themselves and hearing that other moms have similar struggles with their kids, makes me feel a little better. His favorites this month were blueberries, cherries, grapes, waffles, applesauce, bread with cream cheese, cheese and fish sticks.    Teething: No new teeth this month, still at 12 teeth total.    Sleeping: Pretty much the same as last month. He’s been sleeping from about 7:30pm until 5:30am. His naps are usually 3 hours, but there were quite a few days this month, where he slept 4 hours (growth spurt maybe?). I’m grateful that he’s suc...

Fox, Katie & Nadine in 2015: Week 28

Day 190 Our first Bunco Night was so much fun! Katie and I have been trying to get a Bunco group together forever and we finally made it happen! We can't wait for next month! Day 191   Katie put Fox to bed that night and they had the sweetest conversation. He's a funny dude! Day 192   We went to the Butterfly Wonderland with our friends from Tucson. Notice the little butterfly on his arm! Day 193   A few of my friends came over and we sewed some teepees for the babies. This one is my friend Lindsi's teepee, I still have to finish Fox's. Day 194   My friend Alison came over with her kids (Owen didn't want to be part of the picture! ;)) Day 195   Fox loves this teddy that my grandma made for him! Day 196 Poor baby fell on his face and smacked his lip open. He was holding on so tightly to his bottle, even though he was fast asleep.

A Weekend with Friends!

Last weekend, my friend Julia visited us from Tucson with her two kids. We had so much fun! After they arrived on Saturday, we headed to the Butterfly Wonderland. One of our three kids actually enjoyed the butterflies, one was only interested in climbing stairs (Mr. Fox) and the other was deathly afraid of the butterflies. Aww! This melts my heart! Both of Julia's kids loved Fox, they were so incredibly sweet to him and I loved seeing them interact with each other. Three babies in jammies, ready for bed! Funny story: Lexi wanted to take a bath with Fox, so I told her she needed to ask her mom if that's okay. She came back and told me her mom said yes, so I put her in the tub with Fox. One minute later, Julia comes in and asks what she's doing in the tub...lol. I got tricked by a 2-year old...haha. The next day, we went to the train park. Ready to ride the train! Mr. Independent They have a really cool (and free) train museum at ...

Fox's Second 4th of July!

I know, I'm like two weeks late to the party, but this is how I roll these days!  I love holidays and normally the 4th of July would be one of my favorite holidays. Katie always says I'm the most patriotic person she has ever met…haha. Unfortunately, the 4th of July is not very fun (for me anyways) when you live in Phoenix. It's just too freaking hot to do anything. Too hot to go to a parade, too hot to play outside and of course, Fox was too young this year to stay up for fireworks!  So instead, we had Katie's family over for a BBQ and we played some games. It was fun, but I can't wait until Fox is old enough to watch fireworks with us (okay, I CAN wait, because I just want him to stay little forever! ;)). Here are some of his 4th of July pictures that I took.  This is the onesie we made with our Mom's Group a few weeks ago. It was a tiny bit too small on him…lol.  His first sparkler…not impressed at all!  ...

Fox, Katie & Nadine in 2015: Week 27

Day 183 Fox loves Frida, Matthias' sister! Every day, he would stand in front of her room waiting for her to come out and if she didn't, he would bang on the door! Not only that, but he would throw a huge fit when we would take him away from the door. Haha. His first love!  Day 184   Dinner with Katie's mom. Going out to dinner with Fox becomes more and more of a challenge, maybe we'll try again when he's three! ;) Day 185   Fox had his first tortilla chip and loved it! He also loves his aunt Ash! Day 186   A boy and his dog! Day 187   And another one...he is always so proud of himself when he pets Cosie! Day 188   Playdate with his friend Matthew, these boys are trouble!  Day 189  Preparing for our first official Bunco Night at our house!

Fox, Katie & Nadine in 2015: Week 26

Day 176 One of my favorite times each day. Fox is having his morning bottle and cuddles with me on the couch or in our bed!  Day 177   What a great day it was! Marriage equality for all and most importantly, equal rights for our sweet baby boy! Day 178   Family Day at the Aquarium! Day 179   It was Grayson's 1st birthday party, but unfortunately, Fox wasn't able to come, because he was still napping, so I went childless! My friend Tiffany did the same, her daughter was napping as well and we enjoyed catching up without having to chase two crazy toddlers around!  Day 180   Matthias' sister Frida is here visiting from Denmark for two weeks! Fox loves her and is totally smitten with her. He used to come running to me when I came home from work, now he could care less...!  Day 181   Sweetest picture ever! Day 182    He is getting quite good at riding his 4-Wheeler, we just have to ...
