My Once Upon a Time...

Some of my favorite November moments! Showing me his extra tooth that had to be removed, that thing was huge! I spent lots of my kids free nights like this...watching some kind of show while studying. We started to decorate our house for Christmas, and Finn loved to help me with everything. Pizza after karate with friends. Finn has his own Christmas tree in his room, and he did a great job decorating it. This is what happened two hours before we were scheduled to take family pictures. And no, this was not washable marker. I tried about ten different things to get it off, and in the end nothing worked completely, but it was good enough for the pictures  Grandpa playing soccer with three of his grandchildren. I had Thanksgiving lunch with this little turkey at school, he bought his lunch for the very first time in the cafeteria. They fight like only brothers do, but we also have a lot of sweet moments like these. And this wraps up November!

My ex-mother in law, and ex-grandma in law both purchased condos in Mexico this year, so all of us were invited to spend Thanksgiving with the entire family there. Katie offered for me to drive with them, and this was my view...two kids who constantly needed to touch me...haha. You know I loved that though! Their place was absolutely gorgeous, and the beach has always been my happy place. I don't ever take it for granted that I'm still part of their family and included in every single holiday. We played a lot of UNO on this trip. Grandma and Finn on the balcony, I love this picture. Katie, Christina and I took Finn down to the beach after dinner (Fox opted to stay upstairs with grandma). He really wanted to go into the hot tub, and he had the entire pool area to himself. The next morning Finn and I went looking for sand dollars and shells. Cousin time!
