January iPhone dump

A look back at our January!

12 years ago I was pregnant with Fox, and I made some of the most amazing moms on a "First time moms of 2014 babies" facebook group. Since then, we have spent countless days together, from playdates, birthday parties, holidays, to camping and trips. These moms have made the biggest impact on my life and I have gained so many incredible friends over the years. It's been such a blessing to watch our kids grow up together! We decided to have a little reunion for some of the kids that hadn't seen each other in a while, and we went to this place called "Activate" where they got to play some games together.
The beginning was a little awkward, they were all nervous, but in the end, they were all fast friends again.

We took them to dinner afterwards and it was loud, wild, but full of laughter and exactly what my heart needed.

They took some selfies in the room together, unknown to us moms, who got them emailed later on.

And just for fun, here is a picture of Fox at his first playdate with three of the girls from the above picture. He was two months old at the time!

Brotherly love!

Finn had to be the teacher for one hour, and he had to create a presentation for his classmates and stand up in front of all of them and teach them something. He chose to make his presentation about "how to draw comics".

We practiced and practiced and he did great at home, but he froze in class, being all mic-ed up and kept looking over to me for help. Sweet boy, I felt so nervous for him, because I also hate giving presentations.

This picture should've told me everything I needed to know. I thought he was just tired, but it turned out it was the beginning of a long Flu A week for us.

My friends and I hosted Tilly's baby shower at my house one weekend!

In the middle of the shower, she casually announced to everyone that her and her boyfriend are also going to get married RIGHT NOW. She had told me beforehand, but it was a surprise for everyone!

Mother and daughter! I secretly hope that Fox will marry Harper one day, because she's such an amazing and sweet girl, and obviously I wouldn't mind being related to one of my best friends!

We were all making flower bouquets as our party favors.

Happy place right here!

I love them all so much!

More Flu A footage!

I hate when they're sick, but I loved all the snuggles. Luckily I didn't get it, because I had to work five days in a row right after I had spent the entire week with them.

Finn helped me juice some oranges from our tree.

My friend Marcela planned to make vision boards for her birthday and we had a great time catching up!
And that wraps up January!

July iPhone dump

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. It's now hanging from the mirror in my car, as a reminder how fragile life is. This kid kills me with his watermelons. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do.  Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. His throat starts to be itchy and he can't breathe. We might have to get him tested again...hahaha. We visited a lot of play places this summer to stay out of the heat. This was at a library and the kids played with this lite-brite forever. Finn...

We took some family pictures this fall!

March iPhone dump

A look back at the month of March! Fox and I had a few hours to ourselves while Finn was at a birthday party, and he wanted to go shopping at Target and get some Starbucks. Sounds like my kind of date! This is where you can find him most days, playing games with his friends online, while simultaneously being on facetime with them. When did he get so big? Family game night outside! My sour patch kid. He told me he will still cuddle with me until he is 42...haha! I've been having a really hard time sharing parenting time lately. It kills me every time when I have to drop them off every other week for a stretch of five days, and I have been getting anxiety attacks. I know they are well taken care of, I know they have fun there and don't even think about me, but it still sucks. Whenever I'm not with them, I'm at work, and I guess it's just been extra hard because I never had to be away from them as much as I have since becoming a nurse.  Fox brought this home from schoo...
