June iPhone dump

Some snapshots from our June!

We met up with Katie's sister, parents, and my kids' cousins at Ashlie's house for a pool day.

We had lunch, and the kids played, it was really great seeing everyone again and catching up.

We met up with some friends for some indoor miniature golf.

This guy got a hole in one, and was very proud of himself.

Grateful for my friends, each and every day.

After the game, we took the kids across the road to the splash pad. We weren't prepared and had no swim clothes or towels, but they all had fun getting soaked.

Friends for 10 years!

He needs to sleep right on me, and will find me in his sleep if I move away from him.

We were invited to a birthday pool party, and they had a Kona ice cream truck that came to their house, all of the kids loved it.

They got to pick their own flavors.

I brought Katie, Christina and the boys to the airport, when they left for their trip, and Finn was clinging to me so sweetly in the car. It was hard to say goodbye to them, and being away from them for such a long time, but I knew they would have a blast. Divorce is hard.

I got some free tickets for a basketball game, so I invited my friend Lindsay and her kids to join me. It was a lot of fun.

Finn was really proud of himself to build this lego with very little help!
And that wraps up June!

July iPhone dump

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. It's now hanging from the mirror in my car, as a reminder how fragile life is. This kid kills me with his watermelons. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do.  Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. His throat starts to be itchy and he can't breathe. We might have to get him tested again...hahaha. We visited a lot of play places this summer to stay out of the heat. This was at a library and the kids played with this lite-brite forever. Finn...

We took some family pictures this fall!

March iPhone dump

A look back at the month of March! Fox and I had a few hours to ourselves while Finn was at a birthday party, and he wanted to go shopping at Target and get some Starbucks. Sounds like my kind of date! This is where you can find him most days, playing games with his friends online, while simultaneously being on facetime with them. When did he get so big? Family game night outside! My sour patch kid. He told me he will still cuddle with me until he is 42...haha! I've been having a really hard time sharing parenting time lately. It kills me every time when I have to drop them off every other week for a stretch of five days, and I have been getting anxiety attacks. I know they are well taken care of, I know they have fun there and don't even think about me, but it still sucks. Whenever I'm not with them, I'm at work, and I guess it's just been extra hard because I never had to be away from them as much as I have since becoming a nurse.  Fox brought this home from schoo...
