Finn's 6th Birthday Interview

And just like that, he's six.

I ask the same questions every year, and these were his answers on his sixth birthday!

1. How old are you? 6

2. Who is your best friend? Sophia, she’s my very very best friend

3. What is your favorite thing to do? My favorite thing to do is play rainbow friends with my friends 

4. What is your favorite color? Blue 

5. What is your favorite food? Chips

6. What do you like to do with your family? Spend time together 

7. What is your favorite toy? Basketball 

8. What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be a mom

9. What makes you happy? When I play iPad 

10. What makes you sad? When I really want to play a game with you, but you’re working and you can’t. 

11. What is your favorite Show to watch? Fox’s YouTube channel! It’s good! It’s action! 

12. What is your favorite book? My favorites book is Pokémon 

13. What do you love to learn about? I like learning about the world

14. What was the best part of your birthday? The morning. 

15. What was your favorite birthday present? It is the shuffleboard 

16. Who is your teacher? My teacher is Miss Turner. Actually Mama, can you delete that? I hate school. 

17. Where do you like to go? I like to go to rush extreme

18. What is your favorite treat? My favorite treat is candy 

19. What do you think about before you fall asleep? I think about nothing 

20. What does love mean? I don’t know. 

21. What is your favorite song? My favorite song is minions song. Underwear I swear.

Some of my favorite moments of May that haven't made it on the blog yet. May has been such an incredible month and I wish I could turn back time and do it all over again. Between graduating from nursing school and all the celebrations that came with that, Fox's 10th birthday, Finn's Kindergarten graduation, and all the sweet little moments in between, it was a month I will never forget. Kindergarten Homework for this cutie, he is very smart, but hates doing it. This was my favorite view at school, right when you exited the building. This was the place where we met up with friends during breaks, and after every exam, and I wanted to take a picture to remember this special place. This was two days before I took my final exam, and I probably should've been studying, but having an ice cream date with the boys sounded much more fun. He loves to make us laugh. December iPhone dump

December came and went in a flash! We visited Santa! I started a new job in November as a patient care technician in the Oncology unit at the hospital I'm hoping to get hired by after I graduate. I have heard from many people that this hospital usually hires nurses from within, so I wanted to get my foot in the door, and also gain some more experience before graduating. I was really nervous about handling two 12 hour days per week, on top of school and sharing custody of the kids, and while it hasn't been easy, it has been very rewarding. I love the unit I'm on, the patients, the people I work with, and it's a very humbling experience to work in Oncology. I took a screen shot of my activity after one of my shifts, I usually average between 7.5-9.5 miles per day, just from walking all over the unit. Graduation Party

My mother in law Rene' and my friend Allison threw me a graduation brunch the day after I got pinned as a nurse. I love this picture of Patrick. My other (ex) mother in law made this incredible cake for me, she is so talented. My sweet friend Mason. We spent our first year in nursing school together, until he decided to go a different route. We still meet up for brunches and he is also my hairdresser, but I still miss seeing him as much as I used to. It meant a lot to me that he came. I can't even express how loved I felt on this day. I am one lucky girl to be surrounded by so many amazing friends who have been through it all with me. Ten years of friendship this year! Katie and Christina brought the boys and also attended my party, which I really appreciated. Classmates! I was joking that the next time I will receive this many flowers, it'll be my funeral.
