September iPhone dump

A few moments from our September!

The last swim play date at the water park with some friends!

Brunch with my old classmates!

Karate crew!

Every other week, I can go visit the kids during their lunch break at school, and I will show up as long as they let me!

Fox and his best friend from class.

We decorated for Halloween, and this kid was all about it.

This was his idea of decorating, and he was not happy when he came home the following day and I had moved his spider into a different spot.

He calls this his "Rockstar Pose"

We changed Fox's room a little bit, and I was very sad to say goodbye to his space room and rocket bed, but it was time, and he loves his new room.

A quick scooter ride to the little library in our neighborhood to exchange books.

He cracks me up every day. The other day I picked him up from school and asked how it was, and he replied "It was decent!"

I'm getting up really early these days for clinical days and school, but on this morning the sunrise made it absolutely worth it.

We picked up Miranda for Karate, and Fox is very smitten with her.

This is what happens when you have a brother...apparently they had a little (fake) axe throwing competition at Katie's house.

Another school lunch with my bestie.

I think Fox only agrees for me to come because I bring him Chick fil a...but I'll take it.

A quick trip to Flagstaff for my favorite ropes course.

I bought some booger candy for Finn because he loves to eat his boogers, but he was not impressed.

We had Fox's friend over for a playdate and the boys swam in the pool for the last time before it got too chilly.

A quick trip to San Diego for a long weekend. My professor told us the day before that we need to make school our number one priority. She said she knows we want to see the beach, but vacations have to wait until we graduate in May. These were my weekend views. Zero regrets!

It was a great, and busy month!

July iPhone dump

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. It's now hanging from the mirror in my car, as a reminder how fragile life is. This kid kills me with his watermelons. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do.  Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. His throat starts to be itchy and he can't breathe. We might have to get him tested again...hahaha. We visited a lot of play places this summer to stay out of the heat. This was at a library and the kids played with this lite-brite forever. Finn...

We took some family pictures this fall!

March iPhone dump

A look back at the month of March! Fox and I had a few hours to ourselves while Finn was at a birthday party, and he wanted to go shopping at Target and get some Starbucks. Sounds like my kind of date! This is where you can find him most days, playing games with his friends online, while simultaneously being on facetime with them. When did he get so big? Family game night outside! My sour patch kid. He told me he will still cuddle with me until he is 42...haha! I've been having a really hard time sharing parenting time lately. It kills me every time when I have to drop them off every other week for a stretch of five days, and I have been getting anxiety attacks. I know they are well taken care of, I know they have fun there and don't even think about me, but it still sucks. Whenever I'm not with them, I'm at work, and I guess it's just been extra hard because I never had to be away from them as much as I have since becoming a nurse.  Fox brought this home from schoo...
