Fox and I had a very special underwater adventure this summer. This is at our local aquarium, and he was so nervous going into it, even though he had asked to do this for a very long time.
I was nervous as well, as I don't like to go diving, but more nervous for him, and not able to communicate how he was feeling once we were under. He held my hand so tightly most of the thirty minutes of the experience, and kept squeezing it three times in a row - our special way of saying "I love you" to each other.
I thought it was really cool, and I enjoyed it much more than I anticipated. We got to touch and feed stingrays, and there were some sharks in the tank as well.
I was so proud of him for overcoming his fears, and trying something that he wasn't so sure about.
When we got out, he told me that he loved it, even though he was nervous.
I'm so happy we got to do this together, just him and I. It was a really special morning.
