July iPhone dump

I didn't take a lot of "extra" pictures in July, because we were traveling for most of the month, but here are some glimpses of what we did in July!
Aunt Ashlie invited us over for swimming, she has the best pool I've ever seen, complete with a cave, waterfall, and a slide.


Grandma, Alex, and Fox had a jumping competition.

I took Fox on a special date to the movies. He's been struggling with having a little brother lately, and  he really appreciated doing something without Finn. When I picked him up for our date, he asked me "So...how has your day been so far?" I cracked up, because this is not something Fox had ever asked me before. He followed up with: "See how pleasant I am, when I'm not around Finn?" Oh boy! I really enjoyed spending this time with him, and I could tell how much it meant to him as well.

Minecraft junkies!



I invited some of our friends over for a pool party and Marcela got attacked by some of the kids who all ganged up on her.

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. It's now hanging from the mirror in my car, as a reminder how fragile life is. This kid kills me with his watermelons. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do.  Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. His throat starts to be itchy and he can't breathe. We might have to get him tested again...hahaha. We visited a lot of play places this summer to stay out of the heat. This was at a library and the kids played with this lite-brite forever. Finn...

April phone dump

Some more pictures of our April. He's my bed hog, but I love sharing the bed with him and the way he comes find me in his sleep to snuggle up to me. Work Crew! Easter Preparations...it took me a solid hour to fill all the eggs. Finn chipped his permanent front tooth, and had to get it fixed. He was so brave. I tried to hold his hand to let him know I was there, and he kept giving me a thumbs up. Reading in bed with them is my favorite. We went to play mini golf, and it was an absolutely shit show. Just look at Finn in the background, he was on fire on this day. That's his "cool face". Not pictured are all the times he melted down because he wasn't "good enough". I really need to stop playing this game with him, because it happens every single time...haha.  Book Club! I wasn't a fan of the book, but it was great getting out and talking about books with other readers. He got into kinetic sand for a few weeks, and I felt like my floors were covered in s...
