April iPhone dump

Missing the days where we would drop off Fox at school, and head to the playground for a few hours.

Also missing our friend Allison who went back to Michigan for the summer. Here she was teaching Finn how to crack eggs.

Some of my favorite baby outfits from their first year of life all in one perfect quilt! I dreamed about having this quilt made before Fox was even born, and I'm pretty sure it will be in a closet for the rest of my days because it's too special to use...haha.

Sleeping angel. I take a deep breath of relief whenever this little tornado finally falls asleep. I don't remember this stage with Fox when he was that age, but let me just tell you, three is hard.

Basketball class. He hated it, I hated it, probably not doing it again.

Tuesday playdates with our friends Marcela and Simon are another thing I already miss.

The boys made an Easter sugar cookie house.

We've had a membership to the Natural History museum since last summer, and only used it once, so we took Allison one day, and Finn enjoyed mining for gold.

They have a prison there as well, and he thought it was funny to sit on the beds, but didn't think it was funny when I closed the door...ha!

Impromptu staycation at the Great Wolf Lodge! We all love it there, and already have plans to go back for Finn's birthday.

He has no personality at all...

Another morning at the playground. Finn was so excited when the sprinklers turned on and had a blast running through them.

Quick weekend getaway to Flagstaff where we stayed in this cute little cabin.

One of my all time favorite things to do is the Flagstaff Xtreme Adventure Course. I hadn't been in two years, and it was so fun, and my body was so sore the next day.

Fox and I had a little one on one date at his school's art walk.

He was super proud to show me all of his artwork, and even more excited, when we met one of his best friends there.

Finn and I had a few lake days in April as well, while big brother was at school. His favorite activity was to do treasure hunts, where we walked around with a bucket and collected trash on the shore.

Until next month!

July iPhone dump

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. It's now hanging from the mirror in my car, as a reminder how fragile life is. This kid kills me with his watermelons. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do.  Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. His throat starts to be itchy and he can't breathe. We might have to get him tested again...hahaha. We visited a lot of play places this summer to stay out of the heat. This was at a library and the kids played with this lite-brite forever. Finn...

We took some family pictures this fall!

March iPhone dump

A look back at the month of March! Fox and I had a few hours to ourselves while Finn was at a birthday party, and he wanted to go shopping at Target and get some Starbucks. Sounds like my kind of date! This is where you can find him most days, playing games with his friends online, while simultaneously being on facetime with them. When did he get so big? Family game night outside! My sour patch kid. He told me he will still cuddle with me until he is 42...haha! I've been having a really hard time sharing parenting time lately. It kills me every time when I have to drop them off every other week for a stretch of five days, and I have been getting anxiety attacks. I know they are well taken care of, I know they have fun there and don't even think about me, but it still sucks. Whenever I'm not with them, I'm at work, and I guess it's just been extra hard because I never had to be away from them as much as I have since becoming a nurse.  Fox brought this home from schoo...
