March iPhone Dump

A look back at the month of March!
He asked me ever so sweetly if he could bring a few lovies in his bed. How can you say no to this face?

Playing in a big tire in front of the aquarium.

We got a zoo membership this spring and it has already paid for itself, because we've been there so many times. Finn loves all of the animals and told me the other day "We need to go back to the zoo, because the flamingos are missing us!".

No, it didn't rain (because it seems like it never does in Phoenix), but they wanted to play with the umbrella outside. Whatever keeps them entertained, right?

Fox worked so hard that week and I was so proud when he brought his math test and spelling test home that Friday.

A rare picture of just me.

The trampoline has probably been the best gift the boys ever received, we use it all the time.

This doesn't happen too often anymore, so when it does, it needs to be documented. My happy place...stuck under a baby.

Fox came out of our half bath and couldn't stop laughing. I asked what was so funny and he told me what my letter board in there said. This was the first time he actually read it, so I guess it's time to re-think my letter boards.

He hasn't figured this one out yet, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time.

This is my "Wednesday Walking Crew". Every couple of Wednesdays we go for a 4-5 mile walk, usually with Finn in the stroller, but on this day we decided to take a hike instead and I left Finny with grandma.

I realized that I need these outings with my girls so much. When I'm in a funk or feeling depressed, all I need is to spend some time with friends and I'm all better.

While I was on my hike, grandma sent me this picture of Finn and grandpa going to Target to pick out some new toys.

I can't even count the times we've been at the aquarium this year! He still loves it.

Such a handsome dude.

One day I'll get them out of my bed, right? Fox actually starts in his bed every night, but sometimes comes into my bed in the middle of the night.

One day I was watching my friend's girls for a few hours. It always seems easier to have more kids at my house, vs. just mine.

Fox has been begging me to go back to Kids Empire for a year. I finally felt comfortable enough to venture out to an indoor play place, and both of my boys didn't want to leave.

I was exhausted after a few hours from climbing all over their climbing structure.

Finn and I went to Target one morning and he spotted this golfing game and had to have it. What can I say, I wanted it too...haha.

Mr. Cool at the zoo.

Tilly and her boys joined us one afternoon after early release for a few hours at the zoo.

This seriously warmed my heart. Fox is not an affectionate kid, but with Henry he totally is. Fun fact: Henry is only a month older than Fox, but he is super tall.

Tilly volunteered to take almost all of the boys on the camel ride.

He often asks me to make a "burrito baby" out of him. Fox made up the game, and I don't think he even knows what a burrito is, because he's never had one and neither Katie nor I eat them.

This is probably one of the last naps he took at home. He has been refusing naps lately and only sleeps in the car when we pick up Fox from school.

I felt crafty and made a new sign for my front door...seemed fitting.

Do you see the dragon? It was totally random and Fox and I both saw it.

Fox and his cousin driving around Grandma's yard.

Getting ready for my birthday trip with my girls, so I made us some shirts. I loved how they turned out and everyone looked so cute in them. Take a guess which one I wore!

Another beautiful sunset hike with a friend.

Anyone else see the orb? This was actually a video and I took a screenshot of it. On the video you can see me walking down the path and the orb keeps following me. I thought it was pretty cool.

Finn loves everything that involves a ball, so we took him to glow in the dark golf one day.

They both claimed that they won.

July iPhone dump

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. It's now hanging from the mirror in my car, as a reminder how fragile life is. This kid kills me with his watermelons. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do.  Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. His throat starts to be itchy and he can't breathe. We might have to get him tested again...hahaha. We visited a lot of play places this summer to stay out of the heat. This was at a library and the kids played with this lite-brite forever. Finn...

We took some family pictures this fall!

March iPhone dump

A look back at the month of March! Fox and I had a few hours to ourselves while Finn was at a birthday party, and he wanted to go shopping at Target and get some Starbucks. Sounds like my kind of date! This is where you can find him most days, playing games with his friends online, while simultaneously being on facetime with them. When did he get so big? Family game night outside! My sour patch kid. He told me he will still cuddle with me until he is 42...haha! I've been having a really hard time sharing parenting time lately. It kills me every time when I have to drop them off every other week for a stretch of five days, and I have been getting anxiety attacks. I know they are well taken care of, I know they have fun there and don't even think about me, but it still sucks. Whenever I'm not with them, I'm at work, and I guess it's just been extra hard because I never had to be away from them as much as I have since becoming a nurse.  Fox brought this home from schoo...
