Fox's 6th Birthday Interview

I ask him the same questions every year after his birthday and I love to compare his answers every year!
1. How old are you? I am 6
2. Who is your best friend? You! 
3. What is your favorite thing to do? Watch TV 
4. What is your favorite color? Dark green
5. What is your favorite food? Candy 
6. What do you like to do with your family? Play
7. What is your favorite toy? The piano
8. What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be a race car driver. 
9. What makes you happy? You! 
10. What makes you sad? Finn, he always gets in my way. 
11. What is your favorite Show to watch? Ninjago 
12. What is your favorite book? Fox and the magic train. 
13. What do you love to learn about? Nothing
14. What was the best part of your birthday? Finn not being there 
15. What was your favorite birthday present? The trophy 
16. Who is your teacher? Miss Holland
17. Where do you like to go? To Allison’s house 
18. What is your favorite treat? Cupcake
19. What do you think about before you fall asleep? The next morning 
20. What does love mean? It means you really like someone. 
21. What is your favorite song? I don’t like songs.

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. It's now hanging from the mirror in my car, as a reminder how fragile life is. This kid kills me with his watermelons. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do.  Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. His throat starts to be itchy and he can't breathe. We might have to get him tested again...hahaha. We visited a lot of play places this summer to stay out of the heat. August iPhone dump

Some moments from my August... Coffee treats during busy shifts! Fox had a pool playdate with some friends. First day of middle school! Unfortunately I had to work and couldn't send him off that day, but my favorite co-parent came through with some pictures from the bus stop. Found a bunch of these selfies on my phone haha. On the way to school one morning, middle school is rough apparently. A quick brunch with friends to celebrate the end of summer break! My sweet friend Nikki gave me this bucket full of beautiful dresses that she had outgrown. A lot of them still had tags on them! Dinner date with the boys, they preferred playing a game together instead of talking to me...haha! Homework struggles have begun again! Sweet treats after school while we wait for Finn to get off the bus. Unfortunately their buses arrive an hour apart from each other, so we have a lot of waiting around because the bus stop is too far from my house.  He was helping me make schnitzel!
