Zoolights

Zoolights...always a favorite!

We love to go during their member only nights, which are two days before it opens to the general public, because it's a little less crowded.


One day he'll be too heavy for me to carry him!

We met up with two other friends and their kids, which made it a crazy night, but I absolutely loved it.

It was way past Finn's bedtime, but you would never know because he was so happy the entire time and loved to look at the lights.


Our crazy crew...the kids were literally running around like they were on a sugar high.

Waiting for their camel ride! My friend Tilly lost her phone and wallet somewhere, so while she and Becky were looking for it (they ended up finding them...hallelujah!), I watched these four crazies by myself (they took the two little ones). I was sweating after...haha!

All the kids always want to interact and cuddle with Finn...I don't blame them...he's the cutest!

Fox was really proud of this picture and showed it to all of his friends.

One of the best nights with the best friends!

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. It's now hanging from the mirror in my car, as a reminder how fragile life is. This kid kills me with his watermelons. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do.  Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. His throat starts to be itchy and he can't breathe. We might have to get him tested again...hahaha. We visited a lot of play places this summer to stay out of the heat. This was at a library and the kids played with this lite-brite forever. Finn...

March iPhone dump

A look back at the month of March! Fox and I had a few hours to ourselves while Finn was at a birthday party, and he wanted to go shopping at Target and get some Starbucks. Sounds like my kind of date! This is where you can find him most days, playing games with his friends online, while simultaneously being on facetime with them. When did he get so big? Family game night outside! My sour patch kid. He told me he will still cuddle with me until he is 42...haha! I've been having a really hard time sharing parenting time lately. It kills me every time when I have to drop them off every other week for a stretch of five days, and I have been getting anxiety attacks. I know they are well taken care of, I know they have fun there and don't even think about me, but it still sucks. Whenever I'm not with them, I'm at work, and I guess it's just been extra hard because I never had to be away from them as much as I have since becoming a nurse.  Fox brought this home from schoo...
