Santa!

We've been seeing the same Santa since Fox was three, it's a mini session that our photographer offers and she always makes it a magical experience.

Fox was a pro of course, but Finn was a different story.

I was hoping for a crying picture, and if I couldn't get that, a smiling picture, but Mr. Finn had a different idea and just had a very stern face the entire time we were there.

He could not care less...haha.

At the end they were decorating cookies with Santa, but even that couldn't make him smile.

I don't think Santa wanted to eat the cookie, but Finn kept trying.

When we pulled up to the house, our good friends were just leaving. Not only didn't I know that she had the time slot before us, but the boys were also all wearing the exact same pajamas, so we had to get a picture with all three of them. Of course that was the one and only picture where Finn was semi smiling...I was considering just sending this one as our Christmas card this year...kidding!

July iPhone dump

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. It's now hanging from the mirror in my car, as a reminder how fragile life is. This kid kills me with his watermelons. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do.  Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. His throat starts to be itchy and he can't breathe. We might have to get him tested again...hahaha. We visited a lot of play places this summer to stay out of the heat. This was at a library and the kids played with this lite-brite forever. Finn...

March iPhone dump

A look back at the month of March! Fox and I had a few hours to ourselves while Finn was at a birthday party, and he wanted to go shopping at Target and get some Starbucks. Sounds like my kind of date! This is where you can find him most days, playing games with his friends online, while simultaneously being on facetime with them. When did he get so big? Family game night outside! My sour patch kid. He told me he will still cuddle with me until he is 42...haha! I've been having a really hard time sharing parenting time lately. It kills me every time when I have to drop them off every other week for a stretch of five days, and I have been getting anxiety attacks. I know they are well taken care of, I know they have fun there and don't even think about me, but it still sucks. Whenever I'm not with them, I'm at work, and I guess it's just been extra hard because I never had to be away from them as much as I have since becoming a nurse.  Fox brought this home from schoo...
