A look back at Finn's first week at home!
Anyone remember these pictures I took with Fox? I loved them so much that I decided to do them again with Finn. As you can see, he was a big fan!
And here is the comparison, Finn on the left and Fox on the right. Fox was about 2 pounds heavier in this picture, but other than that, I think they look very much alike.
They are actually fraternal twins, just born four years apart. They were conceived at the exact same time in the lab, but Finn was frozen for four years. Science is amazing!
Katie took this picture right when we came home from the hospital. One tired Mama!
Grandma Rene' came over that night to visit for a little bit, before she drove back to California where she just bought a house.
Fox is checking out Finn's feet! He was a little disappointed that he would sleep so much and wasn't ready to play with him yet!
We've been home for about three weeks and he has only asked to hold Finn maybe twice, so I had to capture the moment.
He's definitely a proud big brother, although he told his entire school that his baby's name was Jack after he was first born...not sure where that came from, but I thought it was hilarious.
Two days after we came home from the hospital we decided to take Fox to Open Gym at a nearby Gymnastics place that he loves. When Fox was a baby, we were scared every time we left the house and mostly stayed home, but this time around everything seems so much easier. Fox was pretty excited to have Baby Finn join him at gymnastics!
Katie's grandparents came over one night to meet their newest great-grandson!
Made with lots of love and a little bit of science!
I bought this onesie when I first found out that I was pregnant and it's pretty surreal to see him in it now.
First pediatrician appointment at six days old! He was still 20 inches long and weighed 6lbs, 10oz.
My two boys!
This is pretty much all the did the first week, sleep all day (and night). I had to wake him up every three hours to feed him, since he hadn't gained his birth weight back, but he is a pretty fast eater, so I still got enough sleep at night, even with having to wake him.
Katie was home with us for the first week and Fox was out of school for the week, so we pretty much just relaxed and played at home. I kind of felt bad for Fox that week, because he is usually so active and social at school, so we invited his best buddy over to play one day and those boys played so great together for five hours straight, it was awesome for everyone!
Look at those wrinkles on his leg...love it! Such a sweet boy!
