Milk Bath Session

These pictures were totally out of my comfort zone, but I've seen them on Pinterest and when one of my go-to photographers offered a mini session so close to my delivery date, I had to jump on the opportunity, because I knew it would be the last and only chance I get.

The shoot was at a downtown high rise hotel and the room and views were just amazing! I thought it would be totally uncomfortable and awkward, but it was literally the most relaxed shoot ever. I didn't have to look at the camera, I just relaxed in the bathtub (which smelled amazing because of all the fruit by the way) and chatted with the photographer and her assistant about my upcoming birth and Mr. Fox.

I really love how these turned out, I was super nervous about opening the file when I received them back, but I think she did an amazing job. Katie still thinks these are weird and why would anyone ever sit in a milk bath and take pictures of their naked belly, but that's ok. She's always been a little weirded out by a pregnant belly, so I can see where she's coming from...haha.

And while I might not miss being pregnant for the rest of my life, I know that I will miss this belly, so I'm glad I got some shots of it only four short weeks before our little man's arrival.

July iPhone dump

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. It's now hanging from the mirror in my car, as a reminder how fragile life is. This kid kills me with his watermelons. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do.  Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. His throat starts to be itchy and he can't breathe. We might have to get him tested again...hahaha. We visited a lot of play places this summer to stay out of the heat. This was at a library and the kids played with this lite-brite forever. Finn...

March iPhone dump

A look back at the month of March! Fox and I had a few hours to ourselves while Finn was at a birthday party, and he wanted to go shopping at Target and get some Starbucks. Sounds like my kind of date! This is where you can find him most days, playing games with his friends online, while simultaneously being on facetime with them. When did he get so big? Family game night outside! My sour patch kid. He told me he will still cuddle with me until he is 42...haha! I've been having a really hard time sharing parenting time lately. It kills me every time when I have to drop them off every other week for a stretch of five days, and I have been getting anxiety attacks. I know they are well taken care of, I know they have fun there and don't even think about me, but it still sucks. Whenever I'm not with them, I'm at work, and I guess it's just been extra hard because I never had to be away from them as much as I have since becoming a nurse.  Fox brought this home from schoo...
