Where's Waldo?

Happy Halloween from the Waldo Family!

This year we sent out a few Halloween Cards for the first time, and while I wish I could've sent one to each and every one of you, this will have to do! :)

We knew that this year would be the last shot for us to choose a Halloween Costume for Fox. He also picked out his own Halloween Costume that he will wear to his Halloween Party at School, but we also wanted to do a family theme and since Fox loves the Waldo books, it was an easy decision. I'm sure going forward we will be a Superhero Family for the next 8 years or so! 


One of our favorite photographers snapped these pictures in less than 10 minutes (that's why we love her) and Fox thought it was so funny that we were all Waldos!


I didn't think he would leave his hat or glasses on, because every time I wanted to try them on at home, he would throw a fit, so I had no idea if his hat actually fit until the day of the shoot. (My sweet friend Tilly made it for him!) So when I showed him how Waldo looked in the book and put my costume on, he was all about it and couldn't wait to get dressed as well! He kept looking at himself in the mirror, yelling "I'm Santa Clause"!

I'm glad we got these pictures to remember our third Halloween with Mr. Fox and I can't wait to take him trick or treating this year. He still remembers it from last year and we have talked about it so many times over the last year... he is ready and excited!

    Such a sweet idea! Love everything on and about it.
    We are already in the superhero phase! Daddy doesn't mind it though. LOL

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. It's now hanging from the mirror in my car, as a reminder how fragile life is. This kid kills me with his watermelons. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do.  Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. March iPhone dump

A look back at the month of March! Fox and I had a few hours to ourselves while Finn was at a birthday party, and he wanted to go shopping at Target and get some Starbucks. Sounds like my kind of date! This is where you can find him most days, playing games with his friends online, while simultaneously being on facetime with them. When did he get so big? Family game night outside! My sour patch kid. He told me he will still cuddle with me until he is 42...haha! I've been having a really hard time sharing parenting time lately. It kills me every time when I have to drop them off every other week for a stretch of five days, and I have been getting anxiety attacks. I know they are well taken care of, I know they have fun there and don't even think about me, but it still sucks.
