Ready for School?

After all these vacation posts, it's back to regular scheduling over here! :)
And what's better than some cute Fox pictures?

This school bus was parked right in front of our house for weeks. When we left for the airport for our trip, I was thinking how awesome it would've been to take Fox's pictures in front of it, getting ready for his first day of preschool (although it will be years until he can ride a school bus).
I was so mad that I didn't think of this idea before, so what did I do...I texted Hannah and she got the job done for me while we were gone! Ha!

I was told that this killer smile cost her a popsicle with Mr. Fox! :)

I really love these pics!

And while the school bus was gone when we returned, it has been back almost every day for the last week. Not sure what's going on there, but they just keep parking it in front of our house, so if anyone else wants school bus pictures, come on over! :)

July iPhone dump

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. It's now hanging from the mirror in my car, as a reminder how fragile life is. This kid kills me with his watermelons. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do.  Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. His throat starts to be itchy and he can't breathe. We might have to get him tested again...hahaha. We visited a lot of play places this summer to stay out of the heat. This was at a library and the kids played with this lite-brite forever. Finn...

March iPhone dump

A look back at the month of March! Fox and I had a few hours to ourselves while Finn was at a birthday party, and he wanted to go shopping at Target and get some Starbucks. Sounds like my kind of date! This is where you can find him most days, playing games with his friends online, while simultaneously being on facetime with them. When did he get so big? Family game night outside! My sour patch kid. He told me he will still cuddle with me until he is 42...haha! I've been having a really hard time sharing parenting time lately. It kills me every time when I have to drop them off every other week for a stretch of five days, and I have been getting anxiety attacks. I know they are well taken care of, I know they have fun there and don't even think about me, but it still sucks. Whenever I'm not with them, I'm at work, and I guess it's just been extra hard because I never had to be away from them as much as I have since becoming a nurse.  Fox brought this home from schoo...
