4th of July Crafty Playdate

Last Friday, Fox invited some of his besties over to make some fun 4th of July crafts! It was such a fun afternoon with friends, but I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.  I made some 4th of July Cupcakes and we had some Fruit for the babies.         Apparently it takes three grown ups to get one decent handprint! :)   Some of the 4th of July onesies we made. It was hard to get the babies to open their hands for a hand print, but the shirts turned out cute nonetheless. I can't wait to see all of the babies wearing them!    It was a hot day (like every other day in Phoenix between May and October), so we let the kids cool off in the kiddie pool.         All the moms and babies! Love these ladies! After a while it got too hot out, so we moved inside to play for a little while.    We had a blast and hope to make this an annual thing!  ...

Fox | 13 Month Pictures

Fox is 13 months old!  Obviously, I'm way late with this post, but better late than never. Here's what Mr. Fox was up to during his thirteenth month of life!   For his first birthday, he received a small orange tree from his great-grandparents. They came over one afternoon to help him plant it and showed him how to water it.    This experience must have been very special to him, because he remembers exactly what to do and drags his watering cans to the orange tree regularly and pretends to water it.   Also for his 1st Birthday, he received this 4-Wheeler from his grandparents. It's battery operated and Fox knows exactly how to push the button to get it to move. It's one of his favorite toys!   He is a little daredevil though, riding it backwards & standing up and on one leg! We went to the Butterfly Wonderland one weekend, it's a huge atrium with literally thousands of butterflies, it's just beautiful!   ...

Fox | 13 Month Update

Weight: Haven't weighed him this month. Height: Won't find out until his 15 month appointment! Health: He had a little cold this month, stuffy/runny nose and a little cough but thankfully got over it quickly.  Nicknames: Big Honey, Bubba, Schatzi, Bubbles, Mr. Fox, Foxy, Pumpkin, Poodle Eating: I weaned Fox the day before he turned 13 months old. I weaned over the course of three weeks, I started out by replacing his naptime bottle with whole milk, a week later I stopped nursing him in the mornings and gave him a bottle of milk instead and a week after that I did the same at night. I wasn’t ready to wean, but I think he was. He got really excited whenever he saw the bottle, so the transition was easy. That last night was hard for me, knowing this will be the last time ever to nurse my baby and the anticipation to that night was even worse, but I’m fine with it now. I still get to hold and rock him every night, I don’t have to watch what I’m eating a...

Fox, Katie & Nadine in 2015: Week 24

Day 162   Fun at the Children's Museum with his buddy Grayson Day 163   We met our friends Tiffany and Harper at Gymboree Day 164   We got a season pass for the Butterfly Wonderland Exhibit and hung out at the stingray pool after visiting with the butterflies. Day 165   Another day at the Children's Museum. Fox is obsessed with these flowers, it's always the first thing he grabs when we get there.  Day 166   Fox has been waking up at 5am for the last week, so we decided to try some blackout shades. This is our Redneck Version until we get better ones. FYI, they didn't help...haha.  Day 167   Fox and I made some edible finger paints. Making the paint took about ten times longer than him actually painting, but he had fun while it lasted and created this beautiful canvas for us!  Day 168  Our stepping stone in the front yard got some company. I can't believe how much his little feet...

Fox, Katie & Nadine in 2015: Week 23

Day 155 This boy loves his dogs. Everything is "dog" these days and he gets really excited whenever he sees one! Even if they're not real! Day 156   Fox's great grandparents gave him a dwarf citrus tree for his birthday. They planted it together and showed him how to water it. Ever since, he is obsessed with his watering cans, carrying them all over the yard. I love the sweet smile he gave me at the end and him shaking his head, like he's going to do something he shouldn't be doing! Day 157   Our local Aquarium had annual passes for sale last month and for $22.50, we couldn't resist. We went for the first time last weekend and it was just perfect for Fox. It's not super big, but also not crowded, dark and cool and Fox was able to run around and look at everything at his own pace. We loved it and see lots of visits there this summer! Day 158   The grandparents came for a short visit!  Day 159   It was Katie's ...
