Katie & Nadine in 2014: Week 34

This series should seriously be renamed Fox in 2014! When he turns one, it's safe to say that we documented each and every day of his first year!

Day 232
Everything goes in his mouth these days.

Day 233
Our first walk in his "big boy" stroller. We used a bassinet before which he hated, so we decided to try the seat and what do you know...he LOVED it! It was also our first walk outside, the AZ heat decided to give us a break and it was a "refreshing" 94 degrees...lol

Day 234
Napping in his car seat after music class, it wipes him out every single week.

Day 235
 
No one can make him laugh as much as Katie!

Day 236
A visit with grandma and grandpa. That's Katie's dad he is laughing at, he thinks he's hilarious. I know he's only three months old, but this kid already knows who he likes and who he doesn't like. It's always the same people he cries for and Grandpa is definitely one of the people he adores!

Day 237
Oh my, how far we've come. Fox fell asleep on this pillow on my lap and Zuma decided to come lay with us...totally random. He wasn't even interested in Fox at all, who would've thought?

Day 238
This kid has more Fox items than we can count. For some reason, people just keep giving us Fox themed stuff...I wonder why? We love it all!

A few of my favorite moments from August! Meet the teacher for the boys! I received this picture from Katie's wife, such a sweet bond they have. I'm also loving how his pajamas are inside out...haha. Walter came back to spend a few days with us! We watched him last summer, and the boys kept talking about him, so we were all so excited when his mom asked us to watch him for a few days. Notice Finn pouting. He was upset that Walter "only pays attention to Fox". So many big emotions in such a tiny body. Mr. Cool Guy at his dentist check up and teeth cleaning! I was trying to get some work done in my office, but this guy needed some attention. Finn made a bed for them, so they could sleep together. January iPhone dump

A quick look at our January! Nursing Level 2 unlocked...after getting a heated vest, I now also have my personal space heater at work. No one warned me how cold hospitals are...haha! We watched our friend's dog for a few days and Mr. Finn was in heaven. He wouldn't let go of poor Nugget and always wanted him to be right with him. His eyes say "Save me!!!" Cherishing the times that he will cuddle with me. I know I don't have much time left, and that makes me really sad. Self-care...reading a book in our hammock while the kids were playing nicely together. Another downfall of them growing up, is that we now have to order adult meals at the restaurant. I might have to get another job in order to afford these two...haha.  Katie sent me this picture of Finn sleeping with their dog one night.  Sweet things my co-worker leaves for me when I was sick at work...she made me a to-go tissue packet because the box I kept carrying around kept falling out of my fanny pack that I...

First day of school

This year I have a first and a fifth grader! Aww, he was so tiny in the first picture in Pre-K! Last year of elementary school for this big kid, and Mama is not ready for middle school next year. The boys had a great start to their school year, still taking the bus every day, and while no one is a fan of going to school around here, they seem to like their teachers and classes so far. I'm glad to be getting back to more of a routine for them (and me), because let me just tell you...summer was rough! Haha.
