Fall Things

I love Fall. I love everything about it. The Decorations, Halloween and the cooler weather.
Although, living in Arizona, "cooler weather" just means that instead of 115 degrees, it's only 100 right now. Oh well, we'll get there eventually.
We don't have many decorations, but if I wasn't so dang cheap, I could easily spend a full months salary in the Halloween Section at Target, that's just how much I love this time of year. Almost as much as christmas. But like I said..."almost"!
So for now, we add a few pieces every year and 20 years from now, we can go "all out".

We love our Scentsy Candles, we have one for every season and this one is my favorite!

Stole this idea from pinterest and just love it.

Totally posted these Salt and Pepper Shakers here before, can you tell I still love them?

I saw this wreath on pinterest and just knew I had to make it. It came with some hotglue burns and a bloody finger, but it was totally worth it!

Along with the 100 degree weather comes our plastic pumpkin, does anyone know how long a real pumpkin lasts in the AZ heat? Two days? Three?

Zwei Tage? Drei?

My newest addition...also from pinterest, where else? (I think they should totally pay me for all of the free advertising I'm doing here for them...haha!)

Katie asked me to make her a pumpkin pie last week. I've never made one before, but I guess it turned out, she seemed to like it.
And you know what's the best part about fall? Christmas is right around the corner! :)

July iPhone dump

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. It's now hanging from the mirror in my car, as a reminder how fragile life is. This kid kills me with his watermelons. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do.  Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. His throat starts to be itchy and he can't breathe. We might have to get him tested again...hahaha. We visited a lot of play places this summer to stay out of the heat. This was at a library and the kids played with this lite-brite forever. Finn...

March iPhone dump

A look back at the month of March! Fox and I had a few hours to ourselves while Finn was at a birthday party, and he wanted to go shopping at Target and get some Starbucks. Sounds like my kind of date! This is where you can find him most days, playing games with his friends online, while simultaneously being on facetime with them. When did he get so big? Family game night outside! My sour patch kid. He told me he will still cuddle with me until he is 42...haha! I've been having a really hard time sharing parenting time lately. It kills me every time when I have to drop them off every other week for a stretch of five days, and I have been getting anxiety attacks. I know they are well taken care of, I know they have fun there and don't even think about me, but it still sucks. Whenever I'm not with them, I'm at work, and I guess it's just been extra hard because I never had to be away from them as much as I have since becoming a nurse.  Fox brought this home from schoo...
