Fox's 12th Birthday

Fox's birthday this year fell on a Thursday, and he didn't want to skip school, so we decided to celebrate him the weekend prior.

You might wonder what he got that prompted this face. It was a pillow he really wanted. A PILLOW...haha.

Breakfast at our favorite place, followed with a visit to the toy store.

The next stop was "Bubble Planet", where things went downhill pretty fast. Fox started feeling pretty sick, short of breath with lots of allergy symptoms, and unfortunately wasn't able to enjoy the place very much.

This guy however, had a blast! We still joke that Fox's birthday really was more for Finn.

We had more things planned for the day, but Fox just wanted to go home, and ended up spiking a fever on the way home, poor guy! We still celebrated him the night of his actual birthday, and he had a small party with friends as well, but it was a bummer that he couldn't enjoy this day as much as he wanted to.

July iPhone dump

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. It's now hanging from the mirror in my car, as a reminder how fragile life is. This kid kills me with his watermelons. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do. Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. His throat starts to be itchy and he can't breathe. We might have to get him tested again...hahaha. We visited a lot of play places this summer to stay out of the heat. This was at a library and the kids played with this lite-brite forever. Finn...

April phone dump

Some more pictures of our April. He's my bed hog, but I love sharing the bed with him and the way he comes find me in his sleep to snuggle up to me. Work Crew! Easter Preparations...it took me a solid hour to fill all the eggs. Finn chipped his permanent front tooth, and had to get it fixed. He was so brave. I tried to hold his hand to let him know I was there, and he kept giving me a thumbs up. Reading in bed with them is my favorite. We went to play mini golf, and it was an absolutely shit show. Just look at Finn in the background, he was on fire on this day. That's his "cool face". Not pictured are all the times he melted down because he wasn't "good enough". I really need to stop playing this game with him, because it happens every single time...haha. Book Club!
