My Once Upon a Time...

Day 351 Pediatrician Appointment to get his second half of the flu shot. Last month he got a fever from it, but luckily was fine this go around. He weighed 17lbs, 4oz!  Day 352   We might have slacked on folding the laundry for a week or two...eeks! It was a long night catching up!   Day 353   Christmas Lunch with the Staff. Since Fox spent half of his life in the office as well, he was invited too! Katie posted this picture to facebook, followed by the one below!   I especially like Robert at the head of the table! Day 354   Dinner with our favorite guy...it still blows my mind that he is big enough to sit in a high chair! Day 355   Fox LOVES Zuma! He just starts laughing any time he sees him.  Day 356   Katie sent me this video while I was at work. Love these two! Day 357 Lunch with our friend Cattin, who was visiting from Texas! She told us that she might move back to Phoenix nex...

Day 344   Aunt Ashlie is so proud that she taught him this little trick! Day 345 I guess we are done with the bouncer...this little guy pulled himself right up, trying to escape nap time. Day 346   We were finally able to move back into the rest of the house and got the Christmas decorations out! Day 347   Baby Holiday Party with Fox's besties   Jake, Kristy, Katie & Fox   All the moms...I love our little group! Day 348   We went to the German Christmas Market (which was totally lame) and then had dinner with Ashlie and Brad and looked at Christmas lights. Day 349   Another project done...we had the inside of our front door painted! Day 350 This picture means so much to me. For years, I was dreaming about having three stockings hanging from a mantel. And here we are!  I ordered these stocking this summer and I just love them. I  ordered two extra ones...just in case! ;)

 Day 337  Are we there yet? Day 338   We decorated the christmas tree at Katie's mom's house and Fox had fun playing the piano! Day 339    This boy loves bananas! So far, that's the only thing he likes...go figure! Day 340    Our little elf took a break from Santa's workshop! Day 341   Katie decided to update our previously gold door handles and spray painted them in a dark grey. They look awesome now!  Day 342    More progress on the fireplace. Day 343  Robert had some fun with Fox's boppy at the office.

 Day 330 Roadtrip to celebrate Thanksgiving with the family in Mexico... little did we know, that we would never get to eat Thanksgiving dinner and be on our way back home the next day (Long Story Short, Katie got really sick and our dog didn't behave for the dog sitter, so we left before Thanksgiving dinner) Day 331   Mesmerized by all the pretty lights! Day 332   Are you sick of remodeling pictures yet? Because I am. We're both so done with the mess and to be confined in our Master Bedroom...let's hope they wrap this up soon! Here you can see how they filled in the area before the fireplace, which used to go down two steps. Day 333   First day eating green beans...he hated them. We tried a few more days, but he dry heaved every single time, so we switched to sweet potatoes, which he is not a fan of either, but we haven't given up on those yet.  Day 334   Our big boy got his first two bottom teeth!  Day 33...

Day 323   Poor Baby was sick all day and had a fever from his shots the previous day. All he wanted to do is sleep and cuddle (I secretly enjoyed the cuddling part, even though I felt so bad for him), so Grandma Sandie sent him a video of herself singing to him. He LOVED it! It was the first time that day we saw his little smile and now, over a week later, he still loves the video. It's our "go to" for long car rides when he gets mad, every time we play this video he lights up and gives us his biggest smile. Such a special video!  Day 324   Our friend Julia who used to live with us, came to visit from Germany and we had dinner with her and some friends at the Cheesecake Factory. It was so good to see her and we hope that it won't be another 3 years until she'll be back! Day 325   Renovations continue....we're making progress. Here's your first sneak peak of the new tile! Day 326   Ashlie babysat for us and Katie and I snuck out...

 Day 316 Oh how I love this boy! Day 317   Our ugly floors are finally being replaced (and our fireplace is being remodeled) and we are so excited! For the next three weeks we are quarantined in our Master Bedroom, but the end result will be so worth it. This is day 1 of the construction!  Day 318   Baby Genius hard at work! Day 319 Progress! The smell was awful! Day 320   Katie knows too well, how much I love Christmas. And since our house is being remodeled, my decorations have to wait a few week longer than I would've like them to. So my sweet Love surprised me with hiring a company that decked out the outside of our house. It looks so awesome and makes me so happy, every time I see it!   Day 321   Like mother, like son. Katie calls this her 3pm Lemonade time.  Day 322   6-month check up!
