King of the House!

Our dogs have to stay outside during the day while we are staying at Katie's parents house, which is not surprising after everything they have done to our house.
One night we came home and found Cosie sleeping on Katie's parents' bed. That's a BIG "NO NO"! He must have been too uncomfortable outside! We had no idea how he got in the house and after we took him back outside, it didn't take long until we found out. Our 80lbs dog squeezed himself through the teeny tiny doggie door, which is only a little bit bigger than a DVD...see for yourself!

Another day in Paradise!

Katie's parents went to Italy for two weeks, so we're babysitting Christian, their four dogs and watching the house while they are gone. We moved in two days ago and if it was up to me, I will never leave again. The house is in Paradise Valley and it is truly a Paradise here!
Even though we still have to work, it feels like a vacation, laying by the pool with temperatures in the nineties and nothing to worry about besides what you want to make for dinner that night. The best thing for me about it is probably the fact that there is nothing to clean here, the house even comes with a cleaning lady! Heaven!
Zuma and Cosie enjoying their vacation as much as I do. They're running like crazy all day long in the huge backyard, cool off in the fountains and play with the other dogs. Unfortunately we already had a little accident on our first day here. Zuma slipped and fell into the pool. Although he knew how to swim, he didn't know where the exit of the pool was and totally panicked. Luckily Katie saw what happened and was able to get him out of the pool, who knows what could've happened!
And so we spent the Sunday at the pool, trying to teach our dogs how to swim and especially where the exit is. Both dogs do not like the water and it wasn't easy to get them in the water, but after a few tries Cosie was all about it and went into the water by himself to fetch the ball. Zuma on the other hand didn't want anything to do with the pool and after I carried him into the water a few times and let him swim to the end while Katie called him, he had enough. We hope that they at least learned where the exit is and that they would be able to save themselves if they had to.
