My Once Upon a Time...

Some pictures to round up on our May! I got this sweet birthday card from my supervisors and director and it made my day. Playdates with friends! I took the boys to the Home Show to visit Katie. Aunt Bri photo bombed their picture! Dentist vibes! We had a fun dinner and swim date with my friend Lindsay and her kids. These two jumped in the pool fully dressed! I loved seeing how well they got along. Finn's Mother's Day Project from school, always funny! They had a cute Mother's Day celebration at school where they served us moms with muffins and coffee, and presented a little poem. My friend Jessica posted this about our random Goodwill date, and I loved her words. For my birthday, I wanted to have a little brunch with my friends, and it was such a perfect morning with my favorite people. Add a baby in the mix, and I was in heaven! Fox's birthday this year fell on a Thursday, and he didn't want to skip school, so we decided to celebrate him the weekend prior.  Last year as a child! You might wonder what he got that prompted this face. It was a pillow he really wanted. A PILLOW...haha.  Breakfast at our favorite place, followed with a visit to the toy store. The next stop was "Bubble Planet", where things went downhill pretty fast. Fox started feeling pretty sick, short of breath with lots of allergy symptoms, and unfortunately wasn't able to enjoy the place very much. This guy however, had a blast! We still joke that Fox's birthday really was more for Finn. Stuck in a giant ball pit. We had more things planned for the day, but Fox just wanted to go home, and ended up spiking a fever on the way home, poor guy! We still celebrated him the night of his actual birthday, and he had a small party with friends as well, but it was a bummer that he couldn't enjoy this day as much as he wanted...
