My forever Valentines

Candytopia

One of my friends bought tickets to Candytopia for the the boys for Christmas, so we decided to check it out.[[

I was wondering if it would be better to leave Finn with someone, but one of my friends who had already been assured me that he would love it just as much as Fox.

You go from room to room and the kids (and adults) collect candy from treasure chests. Luckily we didn't bring a bag, so we could only take what we could carry in our pockets and that was more than enough!

His first ring pop...he was a big fan!

I was pretty impressed when Fox was able to name all of the "paintings" in their art gallery room.

Isn't it crazy that every single piece is candy? I loved it just as much as the kids, although for different reasons.

In this particular room the kids were able to push around the giant inflatable balls. We had to be careful for Finn not to get run over though...ha!

It wasn't crowded at all there, so we had all the time in the world in each room and we probably spent the most time in this one.

This was my favorite room. They shot out confetti at you from all angles, Fox and I thought it was awesome and Finn was terrified.

And the grand finale...the giant marshmallow pit. When we saw pictures of this online I assumed that these were real marshmallows, but they weren't, which is probably the more sanitary way to do it. I don't even want to know how many germs are in there.

It was really hard to navigate around all of the marshmallows and keeping Finn afloat.

Fox declared Candytopia as his new favorite place and literally asked to go back dozens of times after this day. It was a great day and I'm so grateful I got to experience this with my boys!

Hiking

My second hike with both boys was a success!

I borrowed a hiking carrier from a friend, because my baby carrier broke after the last hike and Finn was surprisingly very content in there.

It was the same mountain as our "Jingle Hike" back in December, which was great because I knew what to expect and the top platform is perfect to let this little guy run free and have a little picnic.

Fox really enjoyed our hike as well.

Happy to be free!

On the last leg of the climb down, I let this wild child run free and he was enjoying every minute of it.
It was such a beautiful day and I might have to get my own hiking carrier because I would love to do this more often with the boys!
