Halloween

Some 2025 Halloween Memories! We went to Finn's elementary school's trunk or treat, and Fox was able to meet up with some of his friends there as well, even though they are all in middle school now. The boys didn't want to pick out any new costumes this year (I was shocked), but instead picked costumes from previous years, which probably saved me $100...I'll take it! Fox actually decided to stay with Katie this year to hand out candy at her house, but Finn came with me to my friend Corinne's house, where we have been spending every Halloween since he was a baby.  This year's candy crew! These two had so much fun together! And I got to have fun with my friends! It was a beautiful night, and I'm so grateful for all the fun we had.

Halloween 2023

Our Halloween weekend started with Trunk or Treat at the boys' school.  Fox ran of his with friends when we got there, so Finn and I went trick or treating. I loved seeing him greet all of his friends and being so social, he has come a long way from Pre-K. Finn also had a Halloween party in his class, where parents were allowed to participate. Unfortunately Fox was sick on Halloween for the second year in a row, so he stayed with with Katie, and Finn and I went to my friend's Halloween party.  The candy crew! And all the parents! We had a great time with our friends, and hopefully Fox will be able to join us again next year.

Halloween weekend

We started our Halloween weekend with a trip to the pumpkin patch, where we met some friends as well. Finn would've stayed right there all day to play mini golf.  Fox tried out their new tube, but Finn was too scared to try, although I think he would've loved it. Maybe next year. He had to hug all the goats! Later that night, the boys and I went to their school's trunk or treat. It doesn't happen that often, but I love when they play together. The next night, which was the Saturday before Halloween, we went to the Spooktacular hot air balloon festival. We got there right when they opened, so the boys were able to do a bunch of the slides before it got too crowded and the lines got too long. We got slushies, had a picnic, and the boys played tag on the lawn for the longest time. We ran into some friends at the balloon festival, so we joined them for trick or treating at the hot air balloons for a bit, before heading home. Unfortunately Fox got sick the next day, so he wa...
