Easter

I worked on Easter Sunday, but the boys and I had fun celebrating the weekend after, and it ended up being a perfect day with them.

We started out by them looking for their hidden baskets, and exploring them, followed by the egg hunt.







I couldn't believe how fast Finn has gotten over the years, check out his basket! I used to have to remind Fox to give Finn a chance, but maybe the roles have reversed now!



I filled most of the eggs with little ducks, money and some chocolate, and Finn absolutely LOVED the ducks, since he has been collecting them for a while.

Fox was so sweet to share a lot of his ducks with Finn, he seriously has the kindest soul.
They both told me how much fun they had, and how much they appreciated me doing this for them, when in reality, I am so incredibly grateful for them and that they still enjoy doing these things every year.

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. It's now hanging from the mirror in my car, as a reminder how fragile life is. This kid kills me with his watermelons. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do.  Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. His throat starts to be itchy and he can't breathe. We might have to get him tested again...hahaha. We visited a lot of play places this summer to stay out of the heat. August iPhone dump

Some moments from my August... Coffee treats during busy shifts! Fox had a pool playdate with some friends. First day of middle school! Unfortunately I had to work and couldn't send him off that day, but my favorite co-parent came through with some pictures from the bus stop. Found a bunch of these selfies on my phone haha. On the way to school one morning, middle school is rough apparently. A quick brunch with friends to celebrate the end of summer break! My sweet friend Nikki gave me this bucket full of beautiful dresses that she had outgrown. A lot of them still had tags on them! Dinner date with the boys, they preferred playing a game together instead of talking to me...haha! Homework struggles have begun again! Sweet treats after school while we wait for Finn to get off the bus. Unfortunately their buses arrive an hour apart from each other, so we have a lot of waiting around because the bus stop is too far from my house.  He was helping me make schnitzel!
