A look back at the month of March!
Fox and I had a few hours to ourselves while Finn was at a birthday party, and he wanted to go shopping at Target and get some Starbucks. Sounds like my kind of date!
This is where you can find him most days, playing games with his friends online, while simultaneously being on facetime with them. When did he get so big?
Family game night outside!
My sour patch kid. He told me he will still cuddle with me until he is 42...haha!
I've been having a really hard time sharing parenting time lately. It kills me every time when I have to drop them off every other week for a stretch of five days, and I have been getting anxiety attacks. I know they are well taken care of, I know they have fun there and don't even think about me, but it still sucks. Whenever I'm not with them, I'm at work, and I guess it's just been extra hard because I never had to be away from them as much as I have since becoming a nurse.
Fox brought this home from school one day and asked me if it was correct. He even recited the blood flow through the heart for me, and it gave me major PTSD from my nursing school days haha.
We got our pool cleaned and refilled and the boys loved playing in the empty space.
Julia and I met in 2001 while we were both Au Pairs in Rhode Island. And here we are, almost 25 years later and living in the same state again! It was so good to see her and her family.
The boys and I had a special "yes day" in March. We started it off with breakfast at one of our favorite brunch places, and a toy store visit.
Followed by exploring a new play place with one of Fox's friends.
I took the boys to see a movie afterwards, and then we went to the playground!
The night ended with dinner out, and it was just the very best day!
He said he found a piece of fat...haha!
Childhood innocence, digging holes in the backyard and filling them with water.
Two of my friends came over with their kids and we all had dinner together and the kids played until bedtime. It was so fun!
My friend Allison from Michigan was in town with her niece, and we took the kids to the playground together. They had met a long time ago, but all got along very well.
Another beautiful day with my two favorite guys, this time at the Zoo!
They had a cave with a splash pad there and even though we didn't bring swim clothes, the boys had a blast there for a solid hour.
We rented a scooter and zoomed around the zoo for the last hour. They both took turns driving and it was such a perfect day.
Friendship goals...when you just meet up to do a puzzle together. Loved this night!
And that wraps up March!
