Devil's Bridge

On a very chilly morning in February, my friend Tilly and I decided to drive two hours up north to Sedona to hike Devil's bridge.

Sedona is one of my favorite places and I had never hiked there. The weather turned out to be gorgeous, although we did get a little cold, but it's always better to be a little chilly than too hot when you go on a hike.



The line to get on the actual bridge was insane. I think we probably waited for an hour, but it was really fun to see the other people go on the bridge to take their pictures and to chat with the people around us.





The hike to and from the bridge was actually fairly easy and the scenery was beautiful. Having a good friend to catch up with was the icing on the cake.
I had such a great time and I'm very thankful for friends that are willing to go on little adventures with me.

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do.  Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. His throat starts to be itchy and he can't breathe. We might have to get him tested again...hahaha. We visited a lot of play places this summer to stay out of the heat. August iPhone dump

Some moments from my August... Coffee treats during busy shifts! Fox had a pool playdate with some friends. First day of middle school! Unfortunately I had to work and couldn't send him off that day, but my favorite co-parent came through with some pictures from the bus stop. Found a bunch of these selfies on my phone haha. On the way to school one morning, middle school is rough apparently. A quick brunch with friends to celebrate the end of summer break! My sweet friend Nikki gave me this bucket full of beautiful dresses that she had outgrown. A lot of them still had tags on them! Dinner date with the boys, they preferred playing a game together instead of talking to me...haha! Homework struggles have begun again! Sweet treats after school while we wait for Finn to get off the bus. Unfortunately their buses arrive an hour apart from each other, so we have a lot of waiting around because the bus stop is too far from my house.  He was helping me make schnitzel!
