Splash Pad Fun!

There's a really cute little park about five minutes from our house that also has a splash pad. Since it's pretty hidden, it's never really busy like the other splash pads we've been to, so Fox and I took advantage of my afternoon off and went to play for a little while.

It's still over 100 degrees most days, which you can see in Fox's red face! He does love being outside though and always stands by our patio door, begging to go out.

The last few times I took him to a splash pad, he never had any interest in even touching the water whatsoever, which is why I didn't put him in his swim clothes when we went

Turns out, that was a huge mistake! He was all over it!

So much fun!

He kept putting his head in the stream, which is funny, because he doesn't really like it in the shower!

He was soaked in the end, but it was so worth it, and luckily I had a spare outfit in the car!

April phone dump

Some more pictures of our April. He's my bed hog, but I love sharing the bed with him and the way he comes find me in his sleep to snuggle up to me. Work Crew! Easter Preparations...it took me a solid hour to fill all the eggs. Finn chipped his permanent front tooth, and had to get it fixed. He was so brave. I tried to hold his hand to let him know I was there, and he kept giving me a thumbs up. Reading in bed with them is my favorite. We went to play mini golf, and it was an absolutely shit show. Just look at Finn in the background, he was on fire on this day. That's his "cool face". Not pictured are all the times he melted down because he wasn't "good enough". I really need to stop playing this game with him, because it happens every single time...haha.  Book Club! I wasn't a fan of the book, but it was great getting out and talking about books with other readers. He got into kinetic sand for a few weeks, and I felt like my floors were covered in s...

July iPhone dump

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. It's now hanging from the mirror in my car, as a reminder how fragile life is. This kid kills me with his watermelons. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do.  Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. His throat starts to be itchy and he can't breathe. We might have to get him tested again...hahaha. We visited a lot of play places this summer to stay out of the heat. This was at a library and the kids played with this lite-brite forever. Finn...

We took some family pictures this fall!
