Coupon Crazy

I have THE most awesome friend. 
A friend who spends her lunch hour to compile coupons for me and if you think that is awesome, you should've seen the grocery list she wrote me. 
The list had all of the items she suggested I should buy, the regular price, the coupon she had for me and how much the price after the coupon was, along with some explanations.  
I was in awe. Completely blown away by her generosity and kindness, I just couldn't believe it. 
So Katie and I shopped. Pretty much stuck to the list and walked away with 81% savings and all of these items for only $11! Oh and did I mention that we also got a $2 coupon off our next grocery bill?


Ich habe eine supertolle Freundin.
Eine Freundin, die ihre Mittagspause dafuer opfert, um Coupons für mich rauszusuchen und wenn ihr denkt, dass das toll ist, dann hättet ihr mal die Einkaufsliste sehen sollen, die sie mir geschrieben hat. 
Die Liste hatte alle Lebensmittel aufgelistet, die sie mir vorschlug zu kaufen, der reguläre Preis, den Coupon, den sie für mich hatte und der Preis nach dem Coupon, zusammen mit einigen Erklärungen.
Ich war ueberwaeltigt. Komplett von ihrer Großzügigkeit und Muehe weggeblasen, ich konnte es einfach nicht glauben.

Also haben Katie und ich eingekauft. Wir haben uns zum groessten Teil an ihre Liste gehalten und wir gingen mit 81% Einsparungen und alle diesen Dingen für nur $11 nach Hause! Oh, und habe ich erwähnt, dass wir auch noch einen $2 Gutschein fuer unseren naechsten Einkauf bekamen?
The toothpaste, two packets of dental floss and Vitamin Water were free and now we have a nice stock pile of pasta sauces as well. LOVE IT!

Die Zahnpasta, zwei Pakete Zahnseide und das Vitamin Water waren kostenlos und jetzt haben wir auch einen kleinen Vorrat an Pasta Sossen. Ich liebe es!
I just can't believe it! This was like five days ago and I'm still excited about it!
But without you, Ariane, this would not have been possible. You are AMAZING and I can't thank you enough! 

Ich kann es einfach nicht glauben! Das war vor fünf Tagen und ich bin immer noch total begeistert davon!

Aber ohne dich, Ariane, wäre dies nicht möglich gewesen. Du bist einfach nur toll und ich kann Dir nicht genug danken!

April phone dump

Some more pictures of our April. He's my bed hog, but I love sharing the bed with him and the way he comes find me in his sleep to snuggle up to me. Work Crew! Easter Preparations...it took me a solid hour to fill all the eggs. Finn chipped his permanent front tooth, and had to get it fixed. He was so brave. I tried to hold his hand to let him know I was there, and he kept giving me a thumbs up. Reading in bed with them is my favorite. We went to play mini golf, and it was an absolutely shit show. Just look at Finn in the background, he was on fire on this day. That's his "cool face". Not pictured are all the times he melted down because he wasn't "good enough". I really need to stop playing this game with him, because it happens every single time...haha.  Book Club! August iPhone dump

Some moments from my August... Coffee treats during busy shifts! Fox had a pool playdate with some friends. First day of middle school! Unfortunately I had to work and couldn't send him off that day, but my favorite co-parent came through with some pictures from the bus stop. Found a bunch of these selfies on my phone haha. On the way to school one morning, middle school is rough apparently. A quick brunch with friends to celebrate the end of summer break! My sweet friend Nikki gave me this bucket full of beautiful dresses that she had outgrown. A lot of them still had tags on them! Dinner date with the boys, they preferred playing a game together instead of talking to me...haha! Homework struggles have begun again! Sweet treats after school while we wait for Finn to get off the bus. Unfortunately their buses arrive an hour apart from each other, so we have a lot of waiting around because the bus stop is too far from my house.  He was helping me make schnitzel!
