Poolparty & BBQ

Dieses Wochenende waren wir bei Ariane und Andreas zur Poolparty/ BBQ eingeladen. Die zwei haben ein wunderschoenes Haus mit einem noch schoeneren Garten in Scottsdale und ich wuenschte, unser Garten wuerde auch nur ansatzweise so aussehen wie ihrer ;)! Es war wirklich toll und es ist doch immer wieder schoen, so ab und an mal wieder deutsch reden zu koennen. Nachdem wir uns im Pool abgekuehlt hatten, hat Ariane den Grill angeschmissen und es gab Hamburger und Bratwuerste...lecker! Steffi und Matt waren mit Baby Ellie auch da und ich durfte die Kleine die ganze Zeit halten... was will man mehr? Sie ist so suess, wenn es nach mir gegangen waere, haette ich sie gleich mit nach Hause genommen!;)

Steht mir doch gut, oder?

    Haha, auf dem letzten Foto sieht mein Fuss aus, als ob er einfach unter dem Tisch schweben wuerde!!!

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. It's now hanging from the mirror in my car, as a reminder how fragile life is. This kid kills me with his watermelons. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do.  Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. His throat starts to be itchy and he can't breathe. We might have to get him tested again...hahaha. We visited a lot of play places this summer to stay out of the heat. August iPhone dump

Some moments from my August... Coffee treats during busy shifts! Fox had a pool playdate with some friends. First day of middle school! Unfortunately I had to work and couldn't send him off that day, but my favorite co-parent came through with some pictures from the bus stop. Found a bunch of these selfies on my phone haha. On the way to school one morning, middle school is rough apparently. A quick brunch with friends to celebrate the end of summer break! My sweet friend Nikki gave me this bucket full of beautiful dresses that she had outgrown. A lot of them still had tags on them! Dinner date with the boys, they preferred playing a game together instead of talking to me...haha! Homework struggles have begun again! Sweet treats after school while we wait for Finn to get off the bus. Unfortunately their buses arrive an hour apart from each other, so we have a lot of waiting around because the bus stop is too far from my house.  He was helping me make schnitzel!
