Christmas at Schnepf

Christmas at Schnepf Farms is one of my favorite Christmas events every year. We went the day after Thanksgiving, because the weather was still mild, and we wanted to avoid the crowds. Finn wanted to check out Santa's workshop while Fox was doing an inflatable obstacle course. Fox and I went on the ferris wheel (Finn was too scared and stayed with my friend) and he kept telling me how special it was that it was just him and I. The view from the top was beautiful, until we got stuck at the top for about ten minutes and we were swinging back and forth in the wind, which made me super nervous.  I love the little hayride they offer to visit the reindeer. Finn loved feeding them. And this is probably my least favorite part every year, the glitter pinecone ornaments that leave a trail of glitter in my car until Halloween the following year.  I wasn't sure if he wanted to write a letter to Santa this year, or if he even still believed in Santa (he does!), but he was all about it. ...

Tree Minis

Just some pictures we took back in December. It was super bright outside, which caused Fox to squint in most of them...poor guy.  He is such a ham. She had a "snow machine" there, and both boys were a little confused that the "snow" was actually soap bubbles. While I love all the professional photos we take, I know my boys don't. So after they had about a billion photos taken in 2021, I promised myself to schedule less shoots this year, and just do the ones that are really important to me. Let's see if I can cut it down to about 3-4...haha.

Zoolights

One of my favorite Christmas traditions is to visit Zoolights during their member preview night. The weather is usually still mild, and the zoo is pretty empty. I invited some friends to join us, because that just makes it even more fun. These two boys are so freaking cute together. They always hold hands, but this right here tops the cake. I have no idea how this picture came to be (my friend Tilly sent it to me), but they look both so happy. They were loud, they were wild, but I loved every second of it.  Such a great night with some of my favorite people!
