Road Trip Part 2: Kalahari

The next part of our trip took us 3 hours away to Sandusky, Ohio, where we stayed for a few nights at the Kalahari Waterpark Resort. It was similar to the Great Wolf Lodge and we all loved it. The boys especially loved these milkshakes on our first night there!

He's like "Do you see how big this thing is?"

We also had a giant pretzel and some actual food, it was all very good!

We explored the resort that night, played some laser tag, did a mirror maze, and Finn spent way too much money at the arcade!

The next morning we played some Bingo and we got lucky winning several rounds.

Showing off all their Bingo prizes!

This boy hasn't met a stuffed animal he didn't love.

See what I mean? We literally took home a large extra bag filled with stuffed animals and souvenirs from the trip, most them Finn's!

I really only wanted to take a picture of them inside the watermark. Little did we know, that the big bucket was about to drop, and they got DRENCHED!

The waterpark was great, and they played so well together, I loved watching them have so much fun!

More to come...

April phone dump

Some more pictures of our April. He's my bed hog, but I love sharing the bed with him and the way he comes find me in his sleep to snuggle up to me. Work Crew! Easter Preparations...it took me a solid hour to fill all the eggs. Finn chipped his permanent front tooth, and had to get it fixed. He was so brave. I tried to hold his hand to let him know I was there, and he kept giving me a thumbs up. Reading in bed with them is my favorite. We went to play mini golf, and it was an absolutely shit show. Just look at Finn in the background, he was on fire on this day. That's his "cool face". Not pictured are all the times he melted down because he wasn't "good enough". I really need to stop playing this game with him, because it happens every single time...haha.  Book Club! I wasn't a fan of the book, but it was great getting out and talking about books with other readers. He got into kinetic sand for a few weeks, and I felt like my floors were covered in s...

July iPhone dump

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. It's now hanging from the mirror in my car, as a reminder how fragile life is. This kid kills me with his watermelons. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do.  Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. His throat starts to be itchy and he can't breathe. We might have to get him tested again...hahaha. We visited a lot of play places this summer to stay out of the heat. This was at a library and the kids played with this lite-brite forever. Finn...
