Aquarium

We have had a lifetime membership to the aquarium since Fox was a baby, and have definitely gotten our money worth in hundreds of visits, but we hadn't been in a year or so, and I was surprised when the boys agreed to go. They had this really cute carriage set up in front!

A nice older gentleman saw me taking pictures of the boys, and insisted that I had to get into the picture. Such a sweet gesture.



This is the big exhibit where Fox and I went scuba diving a few years ago. He was trying to convince Finn to do it with us one day, but Finn wasn't having any of it. 


It made me happy to see them play together.

They both wanted to do this virtual reality experience, I believe they went on a rollercoaster, and both enjoyed it.

We ended the day with some frozen yogurt!
Hopefully it won't be another year until we are back!

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. It's now hanging from the mirror in my car, as a reminder how fragile life is. This kid kills me with his watermelons. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do.  Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. His throat starts to be itchy and he can't breathe. We might have to get him tested again...hahaha. We visited a lot of play places this summer to stay out of the heat. March iPhone dump

A look back at the month of March! Fox and I had a few hours to ourselves while Finn was at a birthday party, and he wanted to go shopping at Target and get some Starbucks. Sounds like my kind of date! This is where you can find him most days, playing games with his friends online, while simultaneously being on facetime with them. When did he get so big? Family game night outside! My sour patch kid. He told me he will still cuddle with me until he is 42...haha! I've been having a really hard time sharing parenting time lately. It kills me every time when I have to drop them off every other week for a stretch of five days, and I have been getting anxiety attacks. I know they are well taken care of, I know they have fun there and don't even think about me, but it still sucks. Whenever I'm not with them, I'm at work, and I guess it's just been extra hard because I never had to be away from them as much as I have since becoming a nurse.  Fox brought this home from schoo...
