Day two of our road trip was filled with many hours of driving. Before checking out of our Flagstaff hotel, we spent some time in their playroom.
All went well for a few hours, until we got to the four corners monument, and then Finn lost his mind for the rest of the drive. He absolutely hates the car, and has zero patience, no matter how many activities we bring, or roadtrip games we play. It was hard.
The Four Corners Monument is a landmark where the borders of four states—Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah—meet at a single point. It's the only place in the U.S. where four states intersect at one location. I always wanted to check it out, but it wouldn't have been worth a detour, luckily it was on our way to our destination.
We had dinner in town, and then checked into our AirBnb in Durango, where we would spent the next four days.
The selling point of this AirBnb was definitely the private hot tub for me, and I spent every night there.
Look at that view!
More adventures to come!
