April iPhone dump

A look back at our April!
Can't get enough of this sweet sleeping face!

Indoor smores!

My happy place, on the couch with my kids and a good book!

Quick breakfast run before school one morning.

He was brave enough to face the freezing pool!

We went to an Easter event at a local church, and it was so cute, and Finn had a lot of fun. (Not pictured is the grouchy pre-teen who didn't want to be there...haha)

We enjoyed our last days out in the yard before it got too hot.

Fox has really been into reading lately, and it makes me so happy.

That dimple!

Finn and I were writing messages back and forth before bedtime, and he makes me laugh.

I can't even count the times we played this game, but it was constant for a while. The boys' great-grandpa made the board for them, and I think it's so special.

I made them go on a walk around the neighborhood with me. Neither of them was happy about it!

A patient gave me this stuffed animal for Easter and I brought it home for Finn. I told him about how special that patient was to me (he has since passed), and Finn named him after that patient and slept with him every night for weeks on end.

He doesn't go anywhere without his book!

Finn had two school friends over for a playdate, and he was so proud of showing them everything in the playroom.
And that wraps up April!

July iPhone dump

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. It's now hanging from the mirror in my car, as a reminder how fragile life is. This kid kills me with his watermelons. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do.  Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. His throat starts to be itchy and he can't breathe. We might have to get him tested again...hahaha. We visited a lot of play places this summer to stay out of the heat. This was at a library and the kids played with this lite-brite forever. Finn...

We took some family pictures this fall!

March iPhone dump

A look back at the month of March! Fox and I had a few hours to ourselves while Finn was at a birthday party, and he wanted to go shopping at Target and get some Starbucks. Sounds like my kind of date! This is where you can find him most days, playing games with his friends online, while simultaneously being on facetime with them. When did he get so big? Family game night outside! My sour patch kid. He told me he will still cuddle with me until he is 42...haha! I've been having a really hard time sharing parenting time lately. It kills me every time when I have to drop them off every other week for a stretch of five days, and I have been getting anxiety attacks. I know they are well taken care of, I know they have fun there and don't even think about me, but it still sucks. Whenever I'm not with them, I'm at work, and I guess it's just been extra hard because I never had to be away from them as much as I have since becoming a nurse.  Fox brought this home from schoo...
