September iPhone dump

A look back at our September...
They were playing a math game together.

I looked back at a red light, and saw this.

He told me to take his picture at the bus stop.

Anxiously waiting for his friends to arrive.

This was Finn's first playdate that he set up all by himself. He wrote invitations, and delivered them in class. He was so happy to have his friends here.

Intense game of cup stacking.

Finn and I had a little one on one date, while Fox was at his friend's house. Our first stop was the Halloween store.

He was begging for this Sonic plushie, and how can you say no to this face?

Our next stop was Dave and Busters, for some arcade games.

We also went to Party City (because he told me that they have the best candy there), and some stores he wanted to go to, and we had such a great time together. It's not easy these days to get one on one time with them, but I cherish it whenever I do.

Another day, another playdate, this time for Fox!

Every night we go to bed together and read our books, but on this night, he was very distracting...haha.

Fox has been really into tracing lately.

Pool Party to celebrate one of Finn's friends, and Fox had a blast with his friends there as well.

Always my baby...

A much needed night out with my two besties.

July iPhone dump

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. It's now hanging from the mirror in my car, as a reminder how fragile life is. This kid kills me with his watermelons. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do.  Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. His throat starts to be itchy and he can't breathe. We might have to get him tested again...hahaha. We visited a lot of play places this summer to stay out of the heat. This was at a library and the kids played with this lite-brite forever. Finn...

We took some family pictures this fall!

March iPhone dump

A look back at the month of March! Fox and I had a few hours to ourselves while Finn was at a birthday party, and he wanted to go shopping at Target and get some Starbucks. Sounds like my kind of date! This is where you can find him most days, playing games with his friends online, while simultaneously being on facetime with them. When did he get so big? Family game night outside! My sour patch kid. He told me he will still cuddle with me until he is 42...haha! I've been having a really hard time sharing parenting time lately. It kills me every time when I have to drop them off every other week for a stretch of five days, and I have been getting anxiety attacks. I know they are well taken care of, I know they have fun there and don't even think about me, but it still sucks. Whenever I'm not with them, I'm at work, and I guess it's just been extra hard because I never had to be away from them as much as I have since becoming a nurse.  Fox brought this home from schoo...
