Girls Trip

Our annual girls trip was everything I hoped it would be and more.
We decided on a house in Sedona again, which is only about two hours from Phoenix, and for the first time in months, I decided to take the entire weekend off...no work, and no studying whatsoever.

These girls tried to get the fire started and it kind of exploded on them. No one got hurt, but they all had a good scare.

What I love most about these trips is that there is absolutely no pressure to do ANYTHING. Some people played games, some read, some took naps, some went hiking, we all just did what we felt like doing and it was amazing.

Tilly is the queen of charcuterie boards!

A few of us went on a chilly, but sunny walk, which was probably my favorite part of the trip.

Hot tub and snow, the perfect combination!

We played some games at night, which is always one of my favorite things to do.

I was really sad when the weekend ended, and I think we all wished that we could've had one more day, but I'm grateful for the time I got to spend with these beautiful women and can't wait for our next trip!

April phone dump

Some more pictures of our April. He's my bed hog, but I love sharing the bed with him and the way he comes find me in his sleep to snuggle up to me. Work Crew! Easter Preparations...it took me a solid hour to fill all the eggs. Finn chipped his permanent front tooth, and had to get it fixed. He was so brave. I tried to hold his hand to let him know I was there, and he kept giving me a thumbs up. Reading in bed with them is my favorite. We went to play mini golf, and it was an absolutely shit show. Just look at Finn in the background, he was on fire on this day. That's his "cool face". Not pictured are all the times he melted down because he wasn't "good enough". I really need to stop playing this game with him, because it happens every single time...haha.  Book Club! I wasn't a fan of the book, but it was great getting out and talking about books with other readers. He got into kinetic sand for a few weeks, and I felt like my floors were covered in s...

July iPhone dump

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. It's now hanging from the mirror in my car, as a reminder how fragile life is. This kid kills me with his watermelons. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do.  Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. His throat starts to be itchy and he can't breathe. We might have to get him tested again...hahaha. We visited a lot of play places this summer to stay out of the heat. This was at a library and the kids played with this lite-brite forever. Finn...

We took some family pictures this fall!
