July iPhone dump

We loved having our foster dog Walter for a couple of weeks, he was the best dog, and the kids still talk about him. Unfortunately we found out that Fox is highly allergic to dogs, so no more dogs for the time being.



A little before and after DIY project. I've been wanting to paint the inside of our fireplace for years, and finally got around to it.


When it's 120 out, Skyzone is the perfect place to release some energy. 



Comedy Show with my two besties, it was such a fun night!


We met some other friends there too!

My friend Corinne turned 40 in July, and we celebrated with a hotel pool party.

Our friend Trinidy had moved to North Carolina last summer, but she came for a visit to celebrate Corinne's birthday. We all had dinner together one night and it was so good to see her and catch up.





Bed hog!

We had a playdate with my friend Becky and her kids at another indoor play place, the kids had a blast.


Another 40th birthday celebration, this time it was Becky's turn to join the 40's club! We celebrated with another comedy show!


Fox loves to listen to audio books, so I purchased this headband for him that doubles as wireless headphones. He loves them. 

Finn's new obsession is "snacky plates" during movie nights.

We visited the Butterfly Wonderland and the aquarium one morning, while Fox was at camp. He sure is a character.

He asked me to take a picture of him right there.



Karate days are my favorite, it's so cute to watch them.

For the first time in years, I completed a puzzle. I had a lot of extra time on my hands this summer since I didn't have any classes, and I was more than ready to go back to school in August.

Sweet brothers. They fight like cats and dogs, but they can also be sweet to one another.

This picture sums up our summer, it was so miserable, and we are ready for cooler days, 

I wasn't ready for this, but Finn lost his first tooth, four days short of being five. 

Brunch with old classmates...I love these two!

Girls night out, we had dinner and went to see the Barbie movie.



It was a great month!

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. It's now hanging from the mirror in my car, as a reminder how fragile life is. This kid kills me with his watermelons. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do.  Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. His throat starts to be itchy and he can't breathe. We might have to get him tested again...hahaha. We visited a lot of play places this summer to stay out of the heat. This was at a library and the kids played with this lite-brite forever. Finn...

April phone dump

Some more pictures of our April. He's my bed hog, but I love sharing the bed with him and the way he comes find me in his sleep to snuggle up to me. Work Crew! Easter Preparations...it took me a solid hour to fill all the eggs. Finn chipped his permanent front tooth, and had to get it fixed. He was so brave. I tried to hold his hand to let him know I was there, and he kept giving me a thumbs up. Reading in bed with them is my favorite. We went to play mini golf, and it was an absolutely shit show. Just look at Finn in the background, he was on fire on this day. That's his "cool face". Not pictured are all the times he melted down because he wasn't "good enough". I really need to stop playing this game with him, because it happens every single time...haha.  Book Club! I wasn't a fan of the book, but it was great getting out and talking about books with other readers. He got into kinetic sand for a few weeks, and I felt like my floors were covered in s...
