Easter

We had a great Easter this year!
I always love finding little treats and toys for the boys to fill their baskets with. 



Finn's faces this year cracked me up. He was so excited about EVERYTHING!




I almost canceled the Easter egg hunt because I totally failed to pre-fill the eggs the night before, but I pulled myself together at the last minute and the boys were excited.

Doesn't he look so handsome? I remembered that I had this outfit from Fox's second Easter, so I pulled it out, because it won't be long until he won't let me dress him like this anymore. 













After the egg hunt we went to my sister in law's house to meet up with the rest of the family. Their cousin Beckett was trying to wrestle with Fox, which was so funny, because he's two, but he had no mercy.











I'm so grateful to still be included in family events, and being part of this family.

    You can tell which kid likes to be outside and which one doesn't by the level of tan! :)

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. It's now hanging from the mirror in my car, as a reminder how fragile life is. This kid kills me with his watermelons. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do.  Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. His throat starts to be itchy and he can't breathe. We might have to get him tested again...hahaha. We visited a lot of play places this summer to stay out of the heat. March iPhone dump

A look back at the month of March! Fox and I had a few hours to ourselves while Finn was at a birthday party, and he wanted to go shopping at Target and get some Starbucks. Sounds like my kind of date! This is where you can find him most days, playing games with his friends online, while simultaneously being on facetime with them. When did he get so big? Family game night outside! My sour patch kid. He told me he will still cuddle with me until he is 42...haha! I've been having a really hard time sharing parenting time lately. It kills me every time when I have to drop them off every other week for a stretch of five days, and I have been getting anxiety attacks. I know they are well taken care of, I know they have fun there and don't even think about me, but it still sucks. Whenever I'm not with them, I'm at work, and I guess it's just been extra hard because I never had to be away from them as much as I have since becoming a nurse.  Fox brought this home from schoo...
