March iPhone dump

Weekly playdates with our friends Marcela and Simon were our favorite this spring. On this day we went to the Train Park. Our zoo membership expired at the end of March, so we took advantage and went many times while the weather was still nice. Same with our butterfly wonderland membership, it also expired, and I decided to not renew these memberships because Fox will be on summer break soon and doesn't enjoy going to these places.  A beautiful hike with a friend! How bad is it that I'm already looking forward to the winter when we can hike again? It's been 100 degrees in Phoenix this past week and I'm already over it. Every time I try to take a picture of him, he makes a funny face. I loved our park playdates. Soon this little guy will be in preschool every day, and our one on one time is coming to an end.  We were able to convince Fox to join us at the zoo one day, but just because I rented us a Rydable. They both loved cruising around the zoo with it, but Fox was a c...

Nikki's 40th Birthday

Remember a few years ago, my friends and I used to play Bunco every single month? We started out in 2015 and played until 2018, when it kind of fizzled out. A few of my friends had mentioned that they would love to play Bunco again, so I decided to host a 40th Birthday Bunco for our friend Nikki. This is not the birthday girl, but Lindsay also turned 40 this year, so she wanted to take a picture. After Bunco, we always played the dollar game (left, right, center), which is always a lot of fun. At some point of the night, I looked around, took it all in, and my heart was full. It was such a great night, my abs hurt from all the laughing, and these ladies fill my cup each and every time I see them.

Girls trip

Back in March, Katie took the boys on vacation for spring break, so for the first time ever, I was away from them for a week straight. I knew this was going to be hard for me, so I decided to use this time to go on a little trip myself. It has always been my dream to see all of the States, so I really wanted to add some new States to my list. My friend Allison joined me on this trip and our first stop was Atlanta, Georgia. I couldn't believe how cold it was! We were told that it was 70 degrees the previous weekend, but when we arrived it was 30 degrees with strong winds, so we opted for an indoor activity and visit the Coca Cola Hall of Fame, which I thought was super interesting.  We had some lunch, walked through Centennial Park and took a ride on the ferris wheel. It was so scary to be up there. I'm not afraid of heights, but the ferris wheel was swaying in the wind, and we were both glad when the ride ended.  The next day we took a segway tour through the city, which was s...
