Christmas Pajama Pictures

One of my favorite photo shoots of the year...Christmas pajama minis! I love that the outfits are a no brainer (I always use the exact same pajamas every single year) and Fox doesn't complain about having to put "fancy clothes" on...which really is anything but pajamas. Finn needed a little coaxing to get some smiles out of him, but he did great. And then Fox decided to get a little crazy... This is my favorite picture from the shoot, and I definitely need to get it printed. Look at those big teeth! When did my baby grow up? I swear, he got so big within the last year. I love my crazy and silly boys!

Veteran's Day

One of my friend's husbands is in the National Guard, and he graciously invited us and another family to join them on Veteran's Day at the Army base where he works. They had a few retired vehicles and airplanes there and he explained each and every one to them. Afterwards we took a little hike, which was kind of a disaster for me, because Finn insisted to be carried the entire way.  When I put him down, he just plopped to the ground and refused to get up. Didn't even care one bit when I started (pretended) to walk away. I was sweating and out of breath when we got done. Nonetheless, it was a great morning with our friends and we all enjoyed learning more about the Military.

Zoolights

Every year we loved going to Zoolights. I didn't know if it was going to happen this year because we really wanted to avoid any crowds, but then I saw that they offered their member nights again, and even though we are not members anymore, I knew my friend Tiffany was, so I asked her if she wanted to go. I just adore these two little girls. They are so sweet and they always love on Finn. I don't think he wanted to hold hands with them, but he let them. It turned out that it was the absolute perfect night to go. It was the beginning of November, so it was still warm at night and the zoo was almost empty, it was like we had the entire place to ourselves.  You usually don't see a lot of animals during zoo lights, but we were lucky enough to see a very noisy lion and Finn was absolutely fascinated. See what I mean...it was empty! Tiffany and I couldn't believe our luck and kept talking about how perfect this night was. We don't have a lot of playdates with them, but sur...

November 2020 iPhone Dump

November 3rd, 2020...election day. I would vote for this little guy here any day of the week. It was so crazy to think that four years prior Fox had worn the exact same shirt. Don't blink.  Finn has been enjoying his weekly sports classes, although I think he likes the game room there a little better. We enrolled him for more classes, because Fox is going back to school and since we don't have many playdates anymore, we thought it would help with his socialization a little.  The boys play on the trampoline almost every single day, it's been such an amazing addition to our backyard. And when I see moments like this, my heart just melts.  One night after Finn went to bed, Fox and I had an intense game of candyland. It's so odd to me how both of my kids were raised the same, but their eating habits are so different. Finn will eat almost anything and Fox has been picky from the time we first started him on solids and it's still a struggle today. Fox has been doing schoo...
