Disneyland

At the beginning of November we went on our annual family trip to Disneyland. This was actually the third time this year that we went there, but the first time with Katie's parents. Unfortunately her siblings weren't able to join us this time around.
The timing was perfect, we went right after Halloween and before they had their Christmas stuff up, which meant that it was less crowded than usual.

Fox never liked to take pictures with their characters, so I made it my mission to take as many pictures with Finn as I could, because who knows how long he will let me.

Waiting in California Adventure for the rest of the family to get out of the Buzz Lightyear ride.

Grandpa's favorite ride: The Jungle Cruise

Grandma is in heaven!

Fox always claims that he is too scared to ride the haunted mansion ride. On this trip however he said it was his favorite ride and we went on it three times.

We watched "Fantasmic" for the first time and it was nothing short of incredible. Both boys fell asleep during the show.

Another day, another character meeting for Finn...although he slept right through it.

I was surprised how many rides Finn could go on, which was awesome...here we are in line for the Little Mermaid.

Can't get enough baby snuggles!

Grandma can't either!

Sharing some frozen lemonade with his best buddy.

We have never seen the Frozen Show at Disney and scored seats in the front row. It was so good, I couldn't believe it! Even Fox loved it, which was surprising to me, because he was never interested in watching the movie.

Our first time on the rollercoaster in Toon Town. Fox was so scared, but ended up liking it.

We stayed at the Paradise Pier and Katie had booked us a room with a view of California Adventure. We could even see the "Paint the Night" Parade from our room the first night we arrived.

We had a lazy last morning before our trip home.

Before we left, we had a character breakfast and they were able to accommodate all of Fox's allergies and make something special for him.

I made a short video of the trip, which you can watch below!

Fox is already asking when we will go back! We all love Disney!

April phone dump

Some more pictures of our April. He's my bed hog, but I love sharing the bed with him and the way he comes find me in his sleep to snuggle up to me. Work Crew! Easter Preparations...it took me a solid hour to fill all the eggs. Finn chipped his permanent front tooth, and had to get it fixed. He was so brave. I tried to hold his hand to let him know I was there, and he kept giving me a thumbs up. Reading in bed with them is my favorite. We went to play mini golf, and it was an absolutely shit show. Just look at Finn in the background, he was on fire on this day. That's his "cool face". Not pictured are all the times he melted down because he wasn't "good enough". I really need to stop playing this game with him, because it happens every single time...haha.  Book Club! I wasn't a fan of the book, but it was great getting out and talking about books with other readers. He got into kinetic sand for a few weeks, and I felt like my floors were covered in s...

July iPhone dump

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. It's now hanging from the mirror in my car, as a reminder how fragile life is. This kid kills me with his watermelons. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do.  Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. His throat starts to be itchy and he can't breathe. We might have to get him tested again...hahaha. We visited a lot of play places this summer to stay out of the heat. This was at a library and the kids played with this lite-brite forever. Finn...

We took some family pictures this fall!
