Finn | Week 3

Finn is three weeks old! I'm already catching myself wanting to freeze time so badly, because I don't want this little guy to grow up. I just love the newborn/baby stage! Finn on the left, Fox on the right! The following picture cost me some smarties with Mr. Fox...totally worth it, right? These shirts were one of my first projects on my Cricut Machine back in March and I loved seeing my boys in those. Milk drunk and happy! Tummy time! Surprisingly, he doesn't hate it as much as Fox did. For some reason he looks so big in this picture to me. Fox had bright blue eyes right from birth, but he seems to have dark grey and almost brownish eyes. We met up with the entire family for dinner one night and Finn slept through it all...as usual. This little love of mine! I'm really enjoying staying home with him every day, I remember that I was bored with Fox and went back to work after three weeks, but I'm loving it this time around ...

Finn | Week 2

Finn is two weeks old! Well, he's actually almost four weeks old, but I'm running behind on these, so let's roll with it.  And here is the comparison, Fox on the left and Finn on the right! I received this teddy when I was a newborn and it's the only item I have left from my childhood, so it's incredibly special to me. Aunt Ashlie came over one night to get some Finn cuddles and play with Fox! First time in his stroller, he slept right through our entire outing! Fox never liked this bassinet, so I'm glad we will be getting some use out of it this time. My first day at home by myself with both boys! Fox was still on school break and  while we didn't get out of our jammies until after lunch, we all had a great day! He's making these faces a lot in his sleep! Sweet angel! First sponge bath while we waited for his umbilical cord to fall off. One day the grandparents came over to...

Finn | Week 1

A look back at Finn's first week at home! Anyone remember these pictures I took with Fox? I loved them so much that I decided to do them again with Finn. As you can see, he was a big fan! And here is the comparison, Finn on the left and Fox on the right. Fox was about 2 pounds heavier in this picture, but other than that, I think they look very much alike. They are actually fraternal twins, just born four years apart. They were conceived at the exact same time in the lab, but Finn was frozen for four years. Science is amazing! Katie took this picture right when we came home from the hospital. One tired Mama! Grandma Rene' came over that night to visit for a little bit, before she drove back to California where she just bought a house. Fox is checking out Finn's feet! He was a little disappointed that he would sleep so much and wasn't ready to play with him yet! We've been home for about three weeks and he has only asked to hol...
