Fox, Katie & Nadine in 2016: Week 15

Day 99
Sometimes, we don't think purchases through. We bought this climbing structure for Fox, thinking, we would just find a spot for it. Obviously, the living room wasn't a good choice. It's now in the playroom, but man...we really need to stop buying giant toys. He loves it though, so I guess that's all that matters.

Day 100
Playground Date with my Boy!

Day 101
We took Fox to Disney on Ice and had the best time. The first half of the Show we weren't sure, if he loved it or if he was simply overwhelmed and terrified, but when intermission came and he yelled "More", we knew he had fun. He was in awe the entire time!

Day 102
A typical Monday night at Target with these fools!

Day 103
Fox's first time in big boy underwear! Not potty training yet, but getting him used to it!
I can't believe how fast he is growing up!

Day 104
We had dinner with our friend Kristy and her son Jake at the Golf Club and the boys loved playing before and after dinner.

Day 105
We made homemade blueberry popsicles and they were a big hit with Fox!

  1. The golf pic looks very nice. He is growing so fast!
How did you make the Popsicle? Just blending blueberries and freeze it?

July iPhone dump

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. It's now hanging from the mirror in my car, as a reminder how fragile life is. This kid kills me with his watermelons. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do.  Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. His throat starts to be itchy and he can't breathe. We might have to get him tested again...hahaha. We visited a lot of play places this summer to stay out of the heat. This was at a library and the kids played with this lite-brite forever. Finn...

March iPhone dump

A look back at the month of March! Fox and I had a few hours to ourselves while Finn was at a birthday party, and he wanted to go shopping at Target and get some Starbucks. Sounds like my kind of date! This is where you can find him most days, playing games with his friends online, while simultaneously being on facetime with them. When did he get so big? Family game night outside! My sour patch kid. He told me he will still cuddle with me until he is 42...haha! I've been having a really hard time sharing parenting time lately. It kills me every time when I have to drop them off every other week for a stretch of five days, and I have been getting anxiety attacks. I know they are well taken care of, I know they have fun there and don't even think about me, but it still sucks. Whenever I'm not with them, I'm at work, and I guess it's just been extra hard because I never had to be away from them as much as I have since becoming a nurse.  Fox brought this home from schoo...
